  1. @Linas.P possibly just a North America spec option. I have the 2019 RC brochure and no mention at all. When I commented on the lack of ambient lighting on collecting my 2019 RC the salesman was surprised and disappeared to consult "the paperwork" and pronounced it (the ambient lighting) had been discontinued. Shame really as it was quite subtle and classy
  2. I had a stone chip on the bonnet of my Sonic Red RC300h (2016) it was down to the base coat. I approached my dealer on options to repair (I didn't have smart repair insurance) I was advised any touch-in type repair would stick out "like a sore thumb" and the only solution was a complete bonnet respray, at £1200 !!! I wore that stone chip as a badge of honour for the duration of my ownership. I didn't collect any further chips and the one chip remained clean white for 3yrs
  3. Just the one colour in my 2016 RC300h and Lexus discontinued the feature altogether in my 2019 model !!
  4. I had to reject one replacement screen back in the '80s because it was so distorting. Car headlamps would ripple and flare terribly!
  5. The key info in the excerpt I posted is that the fob remote start will work after the Enform app is active. http://media-dmg.assets-cdk.com/teams/repository/export/v/1/f54/a8b3897ff100580110050568bfc31/f54a8b3897ff100580110050568bfc31.pdf
  6. Also from the Lexus Enform Remote features pdf "Your key FOB is able to remote start the Lexus after Enform Remote Services are active. To remote start your vehicle with the key fob first make sure it is locked. Press the lock button three times and hold down on the third time until lights flash. Your Lexus will run for 10 minutes and then shutoff. You are able to remote start with the key fob or Lexus Enform Remote app 2 times for a total of 20 minutes before you would need to drive the vehicle to be able remote start again." Reads remarkably similar to the first doc, except the mentioning of activating the Enform Remote Services first. This service is provided free for the first 3yrs of ownership, maybe those drivers trying it were unaware the app was already activated?
  7. A couple of paragraphs from that document suggests to me this is an add-on function, not a standard factory fitted option? For example - "This product is applicable only to vehicles with 12V DC, negative grounding specifications. Do not use in vehicles with 24V specifications. Otherwise, damage to the unit or a fire may result." and "Do not use this product for applications other than in-vehicle use. An electric shock or injury may result" and "Never attempt to disassemble or modify the product. An accident, fire, or electric shock may result."
  8. The Lexus Enform app is a North America only option. Nothing in the EU/UK region.
  9. Just to mention, one doesn't actually delete anything, simple options not to display the POI icon on the map
  10. Reading my Nav handbook, if one follows the menu options bellow one can select to display all or no POIs and also which POIs categories are displayed Display the map setting screen:  “MENU” button  “Setup”  “Navigation”  “Map” 2 Select “POIs on map”. 3 Select the desired POI categories.
  11. Maybe not Delete but can you deselect the option to display?
