  1. From my post in another tread.. "My 2019 RC300h averages 43 mpg in everyday driving around country roads and urban commutes. When long distance high speed drives on motorways this average drops to mid to low 30's The RC300h hybrid system is definitely a glorified Stop/Start and in that respect performs faultlessly in town/urban traffic. Let it loose on open roads and it is basically a traditional 2.5ltr petrol engined car, with an extra boost from the traction battery when needed." In contrast my 2005 2.7ltr CDI Mercedes would happily return 50+ mpg at the same sort of speeds but only achieve low 30's around town, in the summer. My 5.5ltr supercharged AMG would manage 27mpg on the motorway and creep into the higher teens around town. The Lexus hybrid is really tuned to stop-start town driving but with the new generation UX and ES breaking that mould with significantly better high speed economies

  3. I don't think the NX models display actual pressures, just the warning one or more tyre(s) are low.
  4. Originated on posters in the USA during the 1918-20 influenza pandemic but this is the version I remember seeing (not when it was first shown I should add!!)
  5. On the face-lifted models, well on my 2019, all the lights are LEDs
  6. As the headlamps are LED there really shouldn't be a need to change them and advised in the handbook they are dealer serviced only. I'm not even sure if the lamp units are available separately. Either way they won't be cheap!!
  7. Never a problem in either of my RC300h cars. A car with 50 miles on the clock? An ex-demo car? Could have had dozens of bums in that seat. Either way somebody has sat in that seat with perhaps a pen in their back pocket, service tech? Or someone has lent on the seat holding a something pointy. We can guess all day! The leather in these cars are lovely and soft but also hard wearing. A repair is possible but would always be visible, especially as you know it's there. I'd push for a replacement cover.
