    Clearly but the patch may be covering an area of the dash top that may create reflections on the windscreen that would obscure the HUD display

    Mine aren't, unless I have turned on the auto wipers or the rear fog lamp. Then small indicators light up but they don't illuminate as to show the different functions.

    The problem is a damaged battery cell is likely to be far more difficult to spot!
