  1. All you wanted to know about the Lexus Mark Levinson sound system. Each model detailed. https://www.marklevinson.com/in-lexus.html
  2. Ah! Crochet hook great idea my wife has a huge collection. Must be a suitable candidate amongst that lot...
  3. I've been trying but just can't get the angle right to get under the little edge that's showing. I have some needle nosed tweezers but again there's so little room above the badge my fat fingers can't grip and manipulate the tweezers to get an edge.
  4. I'd say it depends if the car is in the Ready state or not. As I understand it the hybrid battery supplies all the power but only when in the Ready state otherwise it's the 12v battery.
  5. Noticed this through my rear windscreen, the Mark Levinson badge is either distorting in the heat or somebody forgot to take the protective film off at assembly. I can reach it when kneeling on the rear seats but only just able to get a finger between it and the glass, unable to tell if it should peel it off or not... Any suggestions? The car will go into the dealership end of month for it's service but not sure if I want some tech poking about possibly marking up the panel and/or badge.
  6. Mode knob on the side of the cluster and red chrome strips around centre console and across the dashboard centre line? Looks smart
  7. Big red Start button and airbag emblem?
  8. That's going to need a professional mop
  9. Using Meg's Ultimate compound you won't damage the clear coat. You need to polish it off now using Meg's Ultimate polish, finishing with a wax protectant. I use Meg's Ultimate Polish.
  10. In my RC the function is more of a 'hill start assist' than a true brake hold. It's not switchable and operates automatically the car detects it's on a slope. Come to a stop and release the brake pedal and the car will not roll back. On the flat the car will tend to creep forward. So not the same as the MB system. On my CLS55 the brake hold never worked and despite many attempts to figure out why no one could get it functioning!
  11. You can check if a car has an a CAT or has been stolen/recovered using many websites but all require payment for a comprehensive search. Try https://www.mycarcheck.com/ or https://www.instantcarcheck.co.uk/
