  1. Do you have radar cruise (adaptive cruise) control? The radar sits behind the the grill emblem. I don't know of any Lexus model that has an illuminated grill emblem
  2. Off on a slight tangent but I really miss the dynamic seats of my CLS55 that hugged one into corners and on rapid acceleration. Those bolsters were great at keeping one secure and comfortable. Just don't set them on 'Strong' could crush one's rib cage!
  3. I agree about the rather curious layout and cross referencing. Something I fed back to Lexus.. That said I did download the handbook and had read it front to back before my first RC landed on these shores 👍
  4. Not sure if it's the same with your model but in mine if I press the Ready button with the gear selector N the system doesn't shut down but goes into ACC mode. I can then slip the shifter into P and the radio continues to play. As has been said above do not leave the car in N and don't leave it in ACC mode for more than 5-10 min. The car will automatically shut down but it won't guarantee not to flatten the 12v battery first!
  5. In the RC300h I always use Normal around town and Sport on the open roads. I've never use Slug, sorry ECO mode, except once to try it out.. Sport+ is used when I'm having fun but our UK roads are too bumpy to use it comfortably. Fuel consumption isn't really a concern, easily get mid 40's around town and low 30's on the open roads averages out to what you see in my signature below.
  6. Just leave the car in the Ready state and everything is powered by the traction battery and that will be recharged as required by the ICE firing up. Audio will play for long time with a fully charged traction battery before the ICE cuts in. 👍
  7. No, it uses the small 12v battery. It's very easy to flatten it in short time, e.g. listening to music.
  8. It might well pass on emissions but if the tester checks the database he'll see the car has been modified and to modify any emissions related items is a fail.
