  1. You quote prices In dollars, are you in the UK? I would definitely go with the unpainted version a 7yr old car will have faded a bit
  2. Which dealer did you buy from? They should your first port of call. Lexus UK customer service will only bounce it back to them if they haven't had the opportunity to sort this for you.
  3. This could be simply a setting in the cluster menus, setting the headlamps for Continental driving i.e. driving on the right? Maybe someone has had a play around and accidentally change it? I'm curious about the "Lexus importer". Did you not buy the vehicle through a UK Lexus dealer? In which case the 'import' isn't actually an 'import' in usual sense of the term, where one purchases a car from a dealer outside the UK and arrange delivery to the UK. I take it you are in the UK? The first link I posted is the official Lexus EU technical document repository and one has to register and pay to access the detailed information, (well worth the few euros it costs IMHO) lots of detailed info on your specific model, as one enters the vehicles VIN. I think you'd be well advised to explore!
  4. If you switch away from the Auto position to the sidelight position the headlamps will go off just the position lamps stay on?
  5. Seat belt reminder? Door/bonnet/boot open alarm? Brake wear indicator? Parking brake warning?
  6. Don't Lexus anodise the intake manifolds on their F cars? That's a very cool looking purple/blue. As long as the part doesn't sustain physical damage i.e. scratches, the protective anodising should last indefinitely.
  7. Not on a Lexus but I have in the past done other cars, mainly for improved handing/ control of suspension geometry. Works very well but be aware there can be significant increase in noise transmission.
  8. How about anodising the part? Purple anodised parts were very popular in the MTB community ...😉 If you clean off the oxidation and paint on a protective coating, this will need to been maintained on a regular basis, particularly in the hostile enviroment under the bonnet.
