  1. No, a 2005 CLS55, a beast of a car!
  2. The CT cars I experienced had the standard audio and sounded acceptable if a bit 'thin'. The standard audio in my pre-facelift RC300h was better and the ML in my facelifted RC300h is really very good indeed. I agree about the seats. Those on the Merc tend to be for the larger framed person. That said I loved the Dynamic seats in my AMG, especially the way the bolsters would inflate and deflate to add support during spirited cornering! The Sport seats in my RC are very supportive and seem to fit my back length perfectly, the leather is very supple. The seats in the CT were harder but still supportive but were flatter, if that makes sense.
  3. I think you hit the nail on the head when saying "informed opinion" I'm sure each dealership was sent the same information packs and sales folk told to read and digest. Just how many have read the detailed T&Cs is anyone's guess and even those that have will have formed there own opinion (read interpretation) and when passing on to the customer, will naturally focus on the positives, they are sales folk after all. One cannot abdicate responsibility in due diligence by taking another's word (read opinion) as gospel?
  4. I'd say the first and biggest uptake in hydrogen fuel cell will be in the public transport sector and anywhere close control of it's distribution can be ensured.
  5. Sorry never intended to offend or insult any CT owners. Car choice is a very personal thing and I did say IMHO 😟
  6. As of May 2021 UK hydrogen refuelling stations.. Shell, Gatwick (RH6 0NX) - Operated by: ITM Power Shell, M25 Cobham Services, Surrey (KT11 3JS) - Operated by: ITM Power Power CEME Innovation Centre, Marsh Way, Rainham (RM13 8EU) - Operated by: ITM Power NPL, Teddington (TW11 0LY) - Operated by: ITM Power Hatton Cross Station, London (TW6 2GE) - Operated by: Air Products Shell, M40 Beaconsfield Services, Buckinghamshire (HP9 2SE) - Operated by: ITM Power Honda Manufacturing, Swindon (SN3 4TZ) - Operated by: BOC J Matthey, Great Western Way, Swindon (SN5 8AT) - Operated by: ITM Power AMP, Rotherham, Sheffield (S60 5WG) - Operated by: ITM Power Aberdeen Hydrogen Centre, Langdykes Road, City of Aberdeen (AB12 3FT) - Operated by: Aberdeen City Council Hydrogen Refuelling, Powis Terrace, City of Aberdeen (AB25 3RF) - Operated by: BOC Planned hydrogen refuelling stations: A50/A38 services, Willington, Derby (DE65 6DX) - Operated by: ITM Power Cavendish House Prince’s Wharf, Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees (TS17 6QY) - Operated by: TBC Interestingly one can only use the ITM Power operated stations after applying for a fuel card and receiving training... Use of an app is required to determine the operational status of each station. Might be difficult to plan a long distance journey
  7. 100% agreed. I had a CT a couple of times as a loan car and thought it very 'un-Lexus like' IMHO, so much so I made the point of stating not to give me another! I think one might be crediting the thieves with far too intelligence, They see a hybrid, they see what they believe to be a 'better' CAT. It may be more awkward to get at in the UX but that would just result in more damage trying to get it.
  8. Also worth remembering that any business, not just Lexus but any business will always emphasise the positives and gloss over the negatives. When pushed on detail they (the business) will always say refer to the T&Cs, the only legally arguable statement.
  9. Agreed but my point was going from a CT to the UX because of CAT theft is not really an improvement. Both cars have CATs both as vulnerable. Which is why I thought the OP had gone fully electric with a UXe
  10. Nice choice 😊 Still will have the CAT 'anxiety' though, as that model has higher ground clearance?
  11. So, guessing, you're getting the UX300e?
