  1. Have you tried using Shift+7 ? That usually works on most keyboards
  2. From the Select warranty cover on used cars 2.2 We will not pay for the cost of repairing or replacing any Protected Part that suffers a Mechanical or Electrical Failure as a result of wear and tear. https://d3rvezpmgp265q.cloudfront.net/lexusone/lexgbenv11/select_terms_and_conditions_2020_tcm-3157-1893670.pdf But as Colin subsequently posts, I think Lexus take a pragmatic approach to some of these 'failures' Whether this approach would continue with the Relax version (as it's a 'no cost' warranty) only time will tell ..
  3. Does any (Lexus) warranty cover wear and tear?
  4. Missing those days of 20p per litre ...
  5. This seems a little unusual as if the 12v battery were flat one wouldn't be able to open the car with the remote and there would be no display? Your timescales are a little difficult to follow. Was that 13 months after you bought it i.e. nearly 3yrs ago? Everything was then ok for 2.5yrs and now you're having issues again? As Herbs posts, you need to drive it more or leave it on trickle charge
  6. The full T&Cs are available on their website and linked below. https://d3rvezpmgp265q.cloudfront.net/lexusone/lexgbenv11/LexusRelaxTCs-25.05.21_tcm-3157-2291533.pdf It has been said before there is no paperwork as the warranty is automatically applied to vehicles that fit the criteria, also found on their website.
  7. I imagine that email was simply marketing speak, not that the OP was now within the Relax scheme. Lexus cannot simply swap one over without consent or paperwork completion
  8. No chance IMHO.. You could try this yourself, you have the T&Cs from your extended warranty and the T&Cs for the Relax are linked to on this forum, create your own matrix.. Not that it will mean much as there are many grey areas and 'weasel' words used ( I suspect in both documents) that a true comparison can never be made. It will all come down to how it (the warranty) is interpreted and assessed on individual bases, as much could be done 'in goodwill'..
  9. Almost certainly the a/c drain, it's been very humid recently..
  10. Are these figures from the OBC? I once saw 55mpg in my red coupe but when I did the brim-to-brim calculation it was in reality 'only' 48mpg ( I came from a CLS55 which was giving 15-20mpg at best!!). The official consumption figure were wildly optimistic at 57mpg over all routes! I averaged 38mpg over my 3yrs ownership. The blue coupe gives me, currently, an indicated 44mpg, which is in reality 39mpg 'brim-to-brim but much closer to the new official consumption figures of 44mpg. In both cars the difference between urban and town consumption and open road motorway is massive. Around town easily high 40's. Get out on the motorway and A/B roads it drops to low 30's. These self-charging hybrids are just stop/start cars on steroids On the open road it's a 2.5ltr petrol car and heavy at that. To me consumption is irrelevant (but interesting) and does nothing to dampen my enjoyment from the car, it's performance, ride and handling...
  11. Yup, the RC300h is a great car and very misunderstood by some, especially the motoring press. I concur with the looks and it has by received more compliments from friends and total strangers than any other car I've owned 😎 My first, the red 2016, was a real eye opener and the second, the blue 2019, even managed to improve on it in a number of areas. I can't imagine going back to a conventional auto-box, the e-CVT is a remarkable piece of engineering and programming. I hope you get as much enjoyment driving it as I do
  12. I'd expect nothing less ....
