  1. Windscreen wiper defrost. It heats the screen where the wipers park.
  2. ^^^^^ I do hear this in my RC, if I have the seat ventilation on! Great suggestion 👍
  3. As dublet says, I've never heard the hybrid battery cooling fans running now matter how hot it's been or how hard/fast I've driven. That's over 2 cars and 5yrs! Are you sure it's a fan you hear? Do you have the ACS switched on, this can sound a little like a fan, at least in my RC, especially at 'idle'?
  4. ABC dry powder type, 2kg. If you can't put it out with that, run... I'd also recommend attending a fire fighting course if you intend tacking a vehicle fire (well any fire ...)
  5. Every advert for Relax has always included the legal phrase T&Cs apply.
  6. What is the mpg calculated from brim-to-brim refills?
  7. These "self-charging" hybrids are a 'stop-start' system on steroids. As already mentioned the EV mode is only for car park manoeuvres, or at the most, silent exits in the early mornings. Just let the car do it's own thing, the programmers at Toyota know more about getting the most (economy) from the car than 99% of drivers
  8. Interesting.. The handbook suggests.. "Normal mode - Provides an optimal balance of fuel economy, quietness, and dynamic performance. Suitable for city driving" "Eco drive mode - Helps the driver accelerate in an eco-friendly manner and improve fuel economy through moderate throttle characteristics and by controlling the operation of the air conditioning system (heating/cooling)." "Sport mode - Controls the hybrid system to provide quick, powerful acceleration. This mode also changes the steering feel, making it suitable for when agile driving response is desired, such as when driving on roads with many curves." One generally doesn't need quick, powerful acceleration on the motorway, usually smooth constant speeds, with very shallow corners. Are these fuel economy figures from the OBC (after a reset mid journey) or calculated from brim-to-brim refuels?
  9. What complicates the swap from run-flat to normal tyres is the need to provide a spare or tyre 'gunk', never mind wheel brace and jack. So swapping run-flat to normal is somewhat more 'considered' than changing wiper blades ...
