  1. Nothing wrong with that, I prefer the filled arch look myself 😎 Does come with some negatives though depending how low you go. Ramp clearance and turning over bumps can be marginal. My C class on coiler overs and a 25mm drop 👍
  2. Wheel size doesn't matter, as rim diameter goes up the tyre sidewall reduces to keep the rolling circumference the same.
  3. As above make sure you set everything on the climate control to Auto, with the temperature you want and it's a peach! ECO drive mode disables some of the climate functions, so make sure you have selected another mode (Normal/Sport etc..)
  4. Isn't an alignment check part of the routine service? It's been done on my RC300h
  5. With nearly a 2 inch drop one should be looking at also changing the shock absorbers to match. As above, I'd go with coil overs
  6. My only experience with rose jointed suspension resulted in a lot of transmitted noise and vibration. Not something I would consider on a road car.
  7. I take it there are no accompanying visual messages in the display?
  8. The acoustic vehicle alerting system is mounted in the front of the vehicle and is operated when the petrol engine stops and the vehicle is moving at speeds below 15mph So, do you hear the noise when going forward, or only in reverse? https://d24bc9lyrt5en5.cloudfront.net/Customer-Portal-Admin/emanuals/LEXUS/OM33F93E.pdf
  9. Could it be a seatbelt reminder? Do you have a phone paired with the system? My car emits various bings and bongs at start-up, can't say it irritates, so haven't bothered to investigate
  10. Is the ES similar to other Lexus hybrids, in that, reverse is always under electric power and what you hear is the EV motor whirring?
  11. Suggest you take it back and ask them to complete the repairs...
  12. How are you testing the headlamp washer? They will only work with the headlamps illuminated (not just switched on auto) and only on the first pull of the stalk, after that every 5th attempt (on my RC anyway)
  13. Yes sun lotion for tyres.. UV protection is part of many tyre gel brands offering. Well known in caravan and RV circles e.g. https://www.turtlewax.co.uk/products/wet-n-black-500ml https://www.303products.co.uk/shop/303-high-gloss-tyre-shine-protectant/
  14. Use of tyre gel can reduce and delay the damaging effect of the sun's UV
