Neutral in an auto box has no use whatsoever in day to day driving. It's only there to enable the car to be pushed around the workshop or possibly towing away.
In a hybrid even more so, as has been mentioned, in neutral the hybrid system cannot recharge the batteries.
If the wait is going to be prolonged use Park otherwise simply hold in drive.
I did, first thing tried "switch it off and on again" starting point for any electronic glitches 😉
Service manager had a look at it just before we went on our short break and seemed to think a "hard reset" is next. That needs Techstream apparently. Waiting for a call back today to get it in the workshop.
I still think it was something to do with the ADAS recalibration done with the last service. He is of the opinion they are completely different systems so shouldn't be linked but that and the service is the only thing that's been done to the car recently (just days before discovering the sat-nav disappearance)
More often than not it's lack of use that causes leaks by seals drying out.
Rarely, physical damage, perhaps to the condenser by a stone, which might not be so far of the mark, with many motorway miles?
