  1. My understanding was there was no documentation as the Relax warranty is 'complimentary' and automatically applied at the time of service. One's service invoice would be proof of cover. I see you say your LC is "coming up tp 3yrs old" and so would still be covered under the manufacturers new car warranty, perhaps you should clarify with Lexus customer services?
  2. Very much depends on the starting point. What headlight do you have currently?
  3. When I purchased my second RC300h (2019) it was advertised as having the adaptive headlamp system. It didn't.... Lexus admitted an error in their brochure and offered me all sorts of compensation. Check your lower dash area for a button to turn the function on. If it's like the system in the UX and NX loaners I've had it will be obvious when the system is active by a message in the cluster. Check your handbook for your model specific controls...
  4. Get the handbook. https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/about-my-lexus/manuals/ The reversing lamp is accessed via a small plug under the boot lid trim Twist the lamp holder and it comes out the lid and the wedge bulb is simply pulled out Was this car purchased second hand? If so maybe the previous owner replaced the rear lights with the face-lifted versions and in those newer units the lamps are non-replaceable. (BTW I'm not even sure this is possible, just guessing)
  5. Pressuming your RC is a pre-facelift model (i.e. pre 2018) Removal and replacement is detailed in the handbook. The lamp is accessed via the trunk lid and appears to be a standard wedge type lamp. If you don't have the handbook you can download it from the Lexus.uk website
  6. Air in the system? You need to bleed the system all through
  7. All cars. It's far safer to have understeer than oversteer. https://kumhotyre.co.uk/kumho-news/should-you-fit-new-tyres-to-the-front-or-rear/ https://www.oponeo.co.uk/blog/better-tyres-in-the-front-or-back-test-results
  8. It's recommended to put new(er) tyres with greater tread depth on the rear. Most tyre shops would insist on this as a safety thing
  9. Mine are on permanently and I have left them at the factory settings. They function as expected when parking or manoeuvring. I just put it down to the highly hydrophobic paint finish shedding water, which also means I cannot get into the car without water dripping off the roof and on to the seat bolster and me!
  10. If the 12v battery was flat how was the car unlocked? How was the car 'woken up' and into which state?
  11. Tailgate sill trim, part of the protection pack?
  12. Looks like a door sill trim? Do you have illuminated sills on the car?
  13. What do you mean by "going into fault"? My RC parking sensors often beep when drawing to a stop at lights in cooler weather or in rain. Presumably as the water runs down the bonnet etc., over the sensor. In cooler weather it tends to be the fronts that sound, again presumably as the warmer air from under the bonnet affects them by distorting the air in front of them. I had this a lot in my AMG as the 5.5ltr pumped out a lot of heat!
  14. In the hybrid car there is no starter motor the engine is spun up by one of the electric motors, powered by the traction battery. The 12v battery simply operates the entry system and boots up the computers. Once in the Ready state all electrics are powered by the traction battery. The traction battery will never be depleted too low to start the engine in normal use i.e. after a run the battery will have the required charge.
  15. Sorry I'm not explaining it very well. There is a separate software update that updates the 'operating' system of the sat nav, not the mapping data. This second software update must be done using the USB route
