  1. So, bought with the wear already visible? Bought from Lexus?
  2. I've known colleagues who have run winter spec tyres all year round with no significant increase in wear. As long as one doesn't drive at 9/10ths all the time handling would be perfectly acceptable. My experience supports this, having used winter tyres on my Mercs in the past and have been 'caught out' by unseasonably warm temperatures. The tyres felt a little 'wobbly' but nothing concerning.
  3. I doubt it but a call to Lexus would confirm either way. You may get a goodwill contribution if replacement is the only option but I imagine (without seeing it) a competent auto upholsterer could refresh that side.
  4. It will have a specification that should be met by the new one if one wishes to avoid possible problems. Those specifications may well be listed in the owner's handbook and if you wish you can source a replacement with those specifications from any manufacturer or brand. Personally I'd let Lexus change it, in all probability if purchased from them they would fit it free of charge. It and the fitting would also be warrantied and any resetting of windows etc would be covered by them
  5. Have you approached Lexus for a price on replacing the battery? You may be pleasantly surprised and you know it will be the correct specification.
  6. Neither can perfume or aftershave, especially from seat belts and steering wheels
  7. Nicely put Renato. The NX loaner I had recently came with pedestrian warning which as far as I could ascertain, can not be switched off. I always use EV mode on leaving and returning home and on this NX this warning was disturbingly loud, especially when reversing. If I were to move on to the new NX450+ I would have to find a way to stop this noise.
  8. My understanding is the system creates a rolling code that changes at each activation. The thieves may capture the signal/code but it wouldn't work a second time.
  9. Really? I thought the hydrogen fuel cell simply provided electricity for the electric motor(s), so would be as silent, perhaps even more so as there is no ICE unlike in the NX.
  10. The loudest noise in my RC is my tinnitus 🥺
  11. If the car is under 3yrs old it's covered by the manufacture's warranty, no cost to you. What you may have bought(?) is a service plan ...
  12. There's also the Hybrid health check to consider...
