  1. Must admit I always thought the base spec was FWD only...
  2. I've found the voice control on my Lexus to be very particular on using the correct word/phrase whilst being on the correct screen for the action desired.
  3. The fold/unfold switch would need a neutral (auto) position for this to work? I very much doubt the dealership would retrofit and recode what is in effect a model/spec level differentiation? It would require a code file from Lexus, so might well be out of their hands.
  4. Why not keep the seats you have and fit (or have fitted) heater pads? I had this done to my Merc rear seats to very good effect. For example https://www.automotive-control.co.uk/heated-seats-upgrade/
  5. I've had the suspension geometry checked at each service on both my car's and each it has been in specification the rear tyre wear is a 'feature' of these cars.
  6. If cleaning the leather doesn't improve things give these guys a call. Get the wheel professionally recovered. http://royalsteeringwheels.com/
  7. Might have happened 30-40yrs ago but now regulations will prevent car swapping (even if LH could fit into VB's car!), spare cars etc.. I liked those days back when drivers would jog back to the pits and jump into the spare, or qualifying, car and continue racing...
  8. Here's a good report on which car may be better suited to Abu Dhabi ... Seems tyre management will be critical https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.tech-tuesday-red-bull-or-mercedes-which-car-will-suit-abu-dhabi-better-as.76dX6bD2Qv6E5RXAqNpzx1.html
  9. I've done it on every car I've owned and cleaned A car just isn't properly clean unless one addresses the door shuts, the boot shut and the bonnet shuts and edges.
  10. Corrugated
  11. A Bumper car??
  12. Welcome to the club! I have experienced both those things you mentioned. Rear tyre wear on the inner edges is normal for this model, as reported by my service technician. Also the tyre skip is common on cold mornings and is due to the low profile wide summer tyres. I only experience it when turning on full lock and the tyres are cold. The only annoying thing I've found on the RC is the way rain water runs off the roof and drips onto the seat when opening the car door after being parked in the rain.
  13. Be thankful you don't have ceramic brakes? (two examples copied from another forum) "Just for information only ,,To purchase , and fit , 4 ceramic brake discs, and pads to the Aston Martin Vantage would just cost you £26000 pounds" "Mercedes AMG-GTS Front ceramic disks £6709.90 Front ceramic pads. £374.40 Rear ceramic disks. £6528.60 Rear ceramic pads. £368.40 Labour ??"
