  1. EV cars are more expensive to insure, simple fact. More expensive to repair etc..
  2. Your handbook details care of the exterior, recommending waxing when water stops beading. On the carbon fibre panels it states not to use waxes that contain abrasives. Give it a good read first. The use of an electric buffer should be fine, the same caveats as hand buffing apply, make sure the surface and the buffer bonnet are scrupulously clean to avoid introducing swirls
  3. I believe this has been discussed before and the conclusion was there is no adjustment possible. If it's the same as my RC you can turn off the auto function and resort to manual switching though
  4. Opened the bonnet and topped up the screen wash, quite the biannual event. Once by me, once by the dealer at service time. I remember when I had to do it almost weekly....
  5. Same as the front driver's side? 🙂 Sorry... What does it say in your handbook? Don't have one? Download from the Lexus uk website https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/about-my-lexus/manuals/#manuals-form
  6. It's just model differentiation and Lexus are very inflexible regarding mix and match. They would not entertain any deviation from the options listed in the brochures.
  7. Pulling left and right is often just tramlining, wide tyres following imperceptible ruts in the tarmac cause by trucks/heavy traffic. White lines can also be a problem. Some tyre makes are worse than others.
  8. Quick Google gives this does it help?
  9. YouTube videos would suggest cars fitted with dash cams are involved in a disproportionate number of incidents. I'll not be fitting one to my car!
  10. Something I've noticed when watching these videos. I know we (the viewer) are expecting something to happen, but come on some are so obvious that one can only think the driver is looking to prove a point, often accelerating into trouble.
  11. As above, check there's nothing blocking the traction battery cooling vent in the rear cabin. Perhaps a coat or rug, shopping bag?
