  1. Every day there seem to be less and less nice clean examples with FLSH and a complete stock setup. I guess what I am saying is that unless you are very patient, I wouldn't get too hung up on colour. All down to personal taste, but I'd go for any colour except red, which doesn't suit the car and black which is so boring. Finally go into ISF ownership with eyes open. Reliability per buck, I still think the ISF is unbeatable, but things do go wrong, and when they do, parts are expensive and you'll potentially be in the hands of Lexus stealers and a warranty system that isn't necessarily as good as you may think
  2. Yeh, @Rusty Crobar, @Big Rat also says 'put your hand in the fire'
  3. Don't worry, it'll be pink in colour sooner or later 😄
  4. All smoke and mirrors. Who knows what will be desirable in he future. I suspect out of the F range it won't be the RCF - but who knows. A BMW Z8 drove past me last week. For a car that everybody seemed to hate back in the day, the cheapest I could find is...... £135,000. Unlike the F range, the Z8 was well publicised and I believe starrred in a Bond film?7
  5. Interesting that an M140 was significantly slower, I wouldn't have thought there'd be anything in it
  6. If @Big Rat ever got done, his defence could be "But your honor, I don't drive fast, I use remould tyres on my ISF"
  7. Lexus Bristol. I love them I do. I will soon be documenting their excellent service
  8. Dear Mid Wales Rozzers. Whilst out walking in mid-Wales, we witnessed this yobbo driving like an idiot. I shot this image at 1/8000th of a second at F2.8. From this you should have sufficient evidence to prosecute this Toyota Avensis driver. Kindest regards. Flytvr (Editor Of Volvo & Caraving Classics)
  9. Actually it wasn't a Golf R32 it was a Polo 1.0L (whilst I was driving round the Nurburgring). Polo / Golf - they all look the same to me.
  10. This is true. BUT, you like both AND power tools - respect!
  11. I'll add two more words. WHY BOTHER? 😎❤️
  12. Being the least technical person on this forum, I have to (innocently) ask, does any of this matter?
  13. https://lexusenthusiast.com/2017/07/17/rumor-next-generation-lexus-gs-f-powered-by-4-0l-twin-turbo-v8/
  14. I'm glad they are going T. Hopefully in the long run it will hopefully make NA more special
  15. I guess Lexus have to play 'keep up with the Jones'.......I mean, Germans'
  16. I'm sorry, I just don't know how to contribute meaningful technical input. I'll make my New Year's resolution to not do it anymore. in the meantime.......you could use superglue or blutak instead of staples. But whatever you do, watch out for the passenger airbag!!!!!
  17. If on a budget, get some felt like material from Hobycraft. I think they also sell staple guns 😜🤡
  18. Couldn't agree more. Gutted I didn't know 😢
  19. That way the punters can hear you coming as well as see the orange light on top of the car 🤔 On a serious note, it was interesting to hear so many different exhaust notes on the Welsh blat. I was surprised how little difference there was between stock and all the others whilst out on the open road. Predominant sound was induction and not exhaust. @Mark G's exhaust gave the best sound and certainly best value for money (IMHO)
  20. I owned a Boxster S back in the day. I had zero problems with it. However it didn't like sustained high cornering and would moan about low oil levels. Had a couple of 911s (996) on long term loan and loved them. I thought the steering was awesome and there was a real sense of ocassion driving them. Drove a 993 C2s and didn't think much of that at all.
  21. If you bought your car from a garage, you can guarantee it will have been run on empty quite a few times.
  22. For Rusty, every trip to the shops, every daily commute is the equivalent to a Q3 qualie lap! 😀
  23. Once again, you've all missed @Rusty Crobar's real reason for running the tank low. Just like a formula one car, Rusty's car is fuelled for the optimum.... lap.... I mean, traffic light getaway. @Big Rat uses a different fuelling strategy. His car will always have sufficient fuel to get to the next cake & coffee shop!
