    Exterior wise the LC is certainly (as you would expect) a cut above the RCF, making the RCF look old when parked side by side. Just as the RCF makes the ISF look old.

    I've driven the ISF, GSF and both LCs, all in the space of an hour. On public roads I really don't think the driving experience differs vastly. Yes, a day in each on some quiet Welsh roads may well be more telling, but even then, I doubt the difference between any of these cars would be that great. I really did consider switching to an RCF, but apart from the updated interior and functionality, the RCF doesn't offer a big enough reason to switch. When I can't slap a warranty on the ISF, it may well be a different story.

    I keep hearing that he GSF is better than the RCF. I bet in a back to back half hour road test, I'd be hard pushed to provide meaningful critique separating the two.

    Cheers bud 😀 Mind you, not as bad as when they sold me the car and described the wheels as being in perfect condition. When I removed the wheel protectors the car came with, the wheels were scratched to heck. Bristol Lexus then argued the toss with me that they'd never described the wheels as perfect. Shame for them that the sales guy had sent me a video describing the wheels as perfect. Even with this video evidence they tried to say I was telling lies!!!!! Made me feel so inferior. All very upsetting and distressing.

    No, I'm replacing the seat. Bristol attempted to fix it no less than six times. Each time they would report "We've fixed it", I'd drive out of the car park and instantly know they hadn't. There are four bolts holding the driver's seat in place, and I suspect Lexus Bristol's expertise was limited to tightening up these bolts.

    You know the GSF doesn't do it for me. It has more in common with USS Nimitz than the ISF. I'd only consider running a Nimitz class F car once I can't stick a warranty on the ISF.

    Lol. Steering rack issue is documented via LSB. Kept low key. I know of two dealers in the UK that are well aware of the issues. I guess I am one of the lucky ones that has got it replaced.

    Exactly that 🤗 However, I suspect that the Lexus garage that tried to fix the issue lacks sufficient technical know how to even find the exact cause of the problem in the first place. So we'll never know what the problem was or a fix other than that that Lexus suggested I.e. A new seat at 44k miles or to just ignore it

    🙂 Warranty is still a must for me. I wouldn't drive an F without a warranty. I was one of the unlucky ones that had the steering rack fix (replacement) done on warranty. £3.5k. Lexus recognise the design fault with the F rack and thus pay out. A new driver's seat from Lexus, > £6k 😱 So 50/50 success rate for me.

    Of course. I'm on my phone so won't be typing much, but at 44k my front seat needing replacing. Stealer, Lexus warranty and Lexus customer care passed the problem between them, leaving me with the bill. Like I said, ISF parts can be very expensive. Having to replace a seat at 44k miles is acceptable according to Lexus
