There are definitely more exciting cars than the ISF, but the MASSIVE plus point to ISF ownership is reliability and cost of running. For me the ISF was a bullet proof V8 - that was all that mattered.
I know many would disagree with me regarding the gearbox, but I would only ever drive the car in auto if I was pottering around. Otherwise manual EVERY time.
I’m not getting the impression that you are thrilled with your purchase. A bit like getting back together with an x girlfriend and realising the reasons for the break up are still there.
Hopefully I am wrong
I think, with average drivers, there’d be very little in it in the dry - but the M4 is faster.
In the wet - different story.
As for ‘slapping the Beamer silly” not so sure about that 😂
Thanks for posting Ricky.
I have a few questions. In noisy mode, what's the resonance like? How loud is it? Finally, are you expecting issues at MOT time?
But look how good the RCF-CE will look right up until it fireballs!
Talking about fire, had the cavemen discovered fire when the idea of the Flintstone diff was conceived?
Mind you, I have heard of a TVD equipped F up against a flintestone diff equipped RCF. Apparently, ‘Fred’ didn’t even know which way the TVD equipped car went.
Of course, it could have been down to driver skill. Who knows 😜
I can’t comment. I only bought a car with TVD because I’m a **** driver and need all the help I can get.
And yep, I only drive it at night because I’m so embarrassed to own an RCF-CE 😜
