  1. A couple of tiny chips on the bonnet, but you’d live with the car before you even noticed them. Lexus dealer was just a straight take the car off my hands deal - no part x.
  2. Will do. I’m not in a rush to sell. Not even had chance to try a C63 yet and with it being school holidays I doubt I’ll get near a Mercedes garage for a few weeks yet. I spoke to a Lexus dealer the other day and I was pleasantly surprised how much they would pay to take the car off my hands 👍
  3. 😂 It’s a constant job. The other day, I noticed dust on the tyres from the garage floor. Had to send the F away to be cleaned. Whilst the F was on holiday I resurfaced the garage floor to eliminate as much dust risk as possible. She’s back now however
  4. Ummm - is that question for me? My car is just touching 9,000 miles
  5. One thing that does concern me about AMGs is theft 😢 Really don’t want scum breaking into my house to steal a car!!
  6. All makes complete sense 👍 My garage is currently having a makeover, so my F is on short term holiday in another garage. I’m sure when I get it back, I will look at it and be wowed by its’ looks. As you say, the RCF has more presence than the C63 Coupe. I also agree on the interior of the F being a nice place to be. The Merc does look a little plastic. As for the LC500, I’ve driven two (and also the hybrid). The only negative I have is that it’s arguably too similar to the RCF. Yes, Lexus have addressed many issues, but is an LC500 really worth double the price an RCF? I personally don’t think it is. Ah well, with it being school holidays, I’m probably not going to get chance to sample a C63 for a good few weeks. Having said that, with the facelift C63 just round the corner, there are some good deals to be had!
  7. I was asking the opinion of F drivers - not 320d drivers!!!! 😜
  8. I’ve discussed my possible ‘jumping of ship’ with some F buddies today. The main consensus was ‘do not buy a C63’. So, would any of you F drivers be tempted by a switch to a Mercedes C63 (4.0). Love to heat your thoughts 👍
  9. 15,000 miles. Here’s one on Autotrader. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201806287917142
  10. The other advantage of NGenco is that it does a pretty good job of filling existing chips and can be colour coded. Important for those cars with a vanilla bonnet. Chances of finding an RCF with no chips will get less and less. What’s the average RCF mileage these days - 20.000?
  11. With the NGenco guarantee - no brainier. Being endorsed by my Lexus dealer is the icing on the cake. Two issues with stick on ppf. Firstly picking the right product and secondly finding somebody to do a good job. You can tie yourself in knots. Finally, I found PPF to be on par price wise with NGenco (which is a vastly superior product). Anyway, running an RCF ‘bare back’ is not something I’d consider. I’ve seen several RCFs with peppered bonnets. Each to their own. .
  12. Yes - caugh our in a shower. I seem to recall being the only one out of EIGHT F drivers who refused to take my P&J out in the monsoon conditions. 😀
  13. F world is tiny mate 👍 Cant wait to hear it! I was dealing on the very exhaust earlier i the year in behalf of Ratty.
  14. It's this one - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-RCF-Meisterschaft-Exhaust-Used/173431795590?hash=item2861572f86:g:72QAAOSwpdBbPM1U
  15. Lexus Cheltenham recommended one guy, but the cost was crazy. I went with Bayliss Accident Repairs. The exercise was mainly to protect the carbon bits - after all the carbon bashing that has taken place on this very forum 😀. My car is a garage queen covering minimum mileage so I didn't bother with the whole of the car.
  16. I spoke to Ratty about this. He told me that getting your tyre pressures right is more important. Yikes - five to nine - time for a cup of tea!
