  1. I used to think that sunroofs were a complete waste of time. I thought they were only useful for people below average height that didn’t drive above 30 miles per hour. BUT, I take it back - they can be useful - as can be seen here. I popped the sunroof open, and the Mrs was able to film this rather lovely Mustang. Sunroof is now closed and will remain so until I need it again - in about 10 years - possibly
  2. Is it not on the base model RCF? Very surprised!!! I use it all the time in both the RCF and my Volvo.
  3. Funny you should say that. I’m keeping my options open right now - and only today made an offer on a Golf! Adore Golfs!
  4. I am looking at other German options - but not an M car. I simply don’t think BMW are anywhere near as advanced as Mercedes with FI engines and sound. Not in a rush. Going to be a difficult decision.
  5. Get down your local Lexus garage. The average lexus driver seems to be about 135 😂
  6. I don’t even know the 0-60 time of my car. I do know that it will go faster on any stretch of road than I actually want to go. 0-60 is a marketing tool.
  7. Depends what hard stick you use. The majority of F owners I personally know, use their cars as weekend only cars. On that basis, 35,000 miles is high.
  8. Loved our 335i - great car. Congrats on the IS-F. Look amazing in Silver!
  9. My source stated - 14% of RC-Fs shifted by LUK are RC-F Carbon Editions. All colours are pretty equal in numbers now - with Sonic Red marginally the most common (and arguably least desirable). There is just one Velvet black. Not sure if it is SORN or not, but I'm pretty sure it has more than 40 miles on the clock. Mercury grey is the other ultra-rare colour with only one being shipped. This information may now be out of date - but was sourced May this year.
  10. Yikes. An IS220d would be wasted on a non petrolhead like me. From now on, I will only speak after asking the permission of the self proclaimed oversteering driving Gods confident enough to make bold statements.
  11. I bet. Sometimes I wonder if it would be better to sell the F, get something cheap and fun. Then buy a small holiday home in Wales leaving cheap car at that location. I guess what I’m saying is that great roads make all the difference.
  12. 😀 I'm estimating that there are around six white RC-F Carbon editions in the UK. I suspect most of those would be over the 15K mark. At any one time, there's probably zero for sale. You are going to spend a long time hitting the refresh button on www.autotrader.co.uk 😉 @Nikki have you got your new car yet?
  13. Mid engined is great until you reach the limits!! Once this happens, you don’t even have the option of unfastening your seat belt, jumping in the back and hiding!! 😂
  14. Playing devil's advocate. RWD, a petrol head's final drive nirvana. The motoring press ram it down our throats, advanced drivers tell us it's the best, blah, blah, blah. But do you exploit this wonderful thing - do you slide your car around - do you adjust the attitude of your car in the corners? Have you got the skill to do all this? Most of us don't (or very infrequently) venture on to the track. This leaves us with the public highways. Does RWD therefore make even less sense? So, how important is RWD to you and why?
  15. Going to be tough to replace the impact the RCF Carbon has. Took my daughter clay shooting today. When we got home, the F was there looking at me....... The Carbon work is simply mesmerising!
