  1. I don’t mind red leather, but really dislike the shade of red that Lexus use. It’s too vibrant. I can’t believe many customers in the UK would spec a car with red leather.
  2. If you need the sunroof open to hear he QS exhaust, I’d get down to Specsavers. They do hearing aids these days. 😜
  3. Living in Scotland - I take my hat off and I'm very very jealous 😀👍
  4. For me, grey looks superb in the flesh. I’d definitely have one. @emjay82‘s grey with white interior is simply stunning 👍
  5. I think members of SAD (Sunroof Appreciation Dudes) should at this point start a new thread / poll on the subject of sunroofs so that this thread is not hijacked.
  6. Just Google sunroof and headroom. It’s not a personal opinion - it’s a fact that sunroofs impact headroom. Back in the 80s sunroofs were cool - but it’s not the 80s. Most cars now have air con. Air con (for most people) renders sunroofs useless. There will of course be the odd few that still insist that a sunroof adds value to a car, but for most people they either just don’t care or prefer not to have one.
  7. Let me also add. Why would anyone living in a traffic snarled City like London even contemplate a 5.0 V8? Pointless and a waste of a good car.
  8. Cloud cuckoo land. Anyone thinking that an ISF is worth big bucks is probably sniffing illegal substances. Its quite simple. There aren’t that many around, and therefore dealers can hang on until some muppet comes along and pays over the odds. Ask anyone that’s tried the sell an ISF and the chances are they’ll tell you that an ISF is a tough turkey to sell. Some hang round dealers for ages - and I mean ages! AND before any ISF fans jump on me, I love ISFs - I just happen to have left my rose tinted glasses in my car.
  9. Statistically a car with a sunroof is less desirable. A tall person will avoid cars with sunroofs like the plague. Whereas a car without a sunroof will work for all people irrespective of height.
  10. Get the hybrid. All the parts are interchangeable with the RCF, so if you change your mind, you can shoehorn a V8 in it.
  11. Right - for fun, put your expertise to the test and document what you think will happen in the future. I've excluded the LF-A as it is already a classic.
  12. Excellent. All you need now is a flood 😜
  13. I found another use for a sunroof. If you find your car in a couple of feet of water i.e. a flood, you could open the sunroof - climb in, shut the sunroof (until next flood) and drive off. Of course, I'm not sure if the base model RC-F edition allows the sunroof to be opened remotely!
  14. It may make no difference to you, but there are rumours that this car has done several track based events.
  15. It’s all crystal ball stuff. However, with such a rare vehicle, it doesn’t take much for the market prices to become falsely elevated. As an example, read the PH thread on Volvo V8 prices!!!
  16. Seen lots of ISF exhausts. For me, the original tips look best - as the designer intended.
  17. My personal opinion, but a Carbon Edition should stand out, and therefore contrast is best -
  18. I know they do it all the time - and I don't like them doing it. Very easy for a buyer to buy a modified car unknowingly. If there are any future warranty claims, it would be up to the owner to prove they didn't carry out the mods. I know both the cars you have mentioned very well. Both exhausts systems change the characteristics of the cars greatly. Unless the dealer made it clear the cars were modified (in writing), I think it is simply wrong for a dealer to pedal them to unsuspecting punters. How much is a stock IS-F exhaust........?
  19. I thought the price was a bit low at £42k. Now been brought into line -
  20. All fair comments. I’ve had several punctures over the last few years (although none in the RCF). On every occasion the foam failed to fix the problem and the vehicles had to be recovered 😡
