  1. Just make sure you have clean skids with you. And have you got breakdown cover? 😜
  2. Instant, lower RPM torque and also higher peak figures with it being (twin) turbocharged I'd imagine Pretty much Ryan 👍 However, I suspect Sean's question is loaded 😊
  3. M4 v ISF / GSF, from what I’ve seen on the road.....in a straight line drag, the M4 is faster - no doubt. The M4 has a major advantage with torque, so if you were up against one, you’ll have to work harder and rev your F - not necessarily a bad thing. Mix in some wet weather and the advantage goes to the F massively. I also suspect the average driver could push an F more comfortably than an M4. Like I said - these are my observations after seeing several F cars following an M4.
  4. I have seen lots of carbon after market parts. None I have seen come anywhere near the quality of the cf that comes out of Lexus. It really is a work of art to look at. Also, lets not forget the LFA dna. For me, I see the Lexus F product as a work of art. After all, F products are designed by very talented artists and designers. So why would I want to go and mess around with a car's aesthetics. I wouldn't buy a painting and then draw graffiti over it! You are right, there are some horrendous modifications made to cars. Sadly such mods are now getting applied to RC-Fs. I feel some owners buy the wrong car in the first place and then attempt to change the car into something else in a vague hope of achieving satisfaction. I will re-iterate - each to their own.
  5. Morning Wayne - not for a second thinking you are slating my car 👍 Some professional designers at Lexus created the Lexus RC-F Carbon edition. I don't see this is comparable to somebody outside of Lexus modifying a car with after market parts.
  6. The difference is that the car is as it was designed. Each to their own. Some love modified cars - some dislike them. I'm firmly in the 'dislike' boat. At the end of the day, I'm not a car designer, but like I said, each to their own.
  7. Yeh - I’m not a fan. Probably suit those with bling tastes!
  8. Yes - one that left the Lexus factory with a carbon bonnet fitted 😀
  9. Tim (dealer principal) at Cheltenham messaged me yesterday. They’ve got a lovely anniversary RCF
  10. I’d have to move to Cheshire and start a football career
  11. Yeh - I was thinking along those lines. Maybe drove one of the other cars first - but to say it’s soft on the road - well thats rubbish
  12. Nice to see it being ‘exercised’ with some serious stable mates. Surprised he thought the suspension was soft!! Personally I think the GSF and RCF setup is bang on
  13. I think he said he’s found it too impractical with a family and wants a GSF
  14. Or a rule putting all chavvie examples on the same boat - a ropey one
  15. Interesting bit of background on the beautiful GY66 DVH (currently for sale on Autotrader) here. Enjoy
  16. I'll be coming with you! Not sure I'll be in a Lexus however........
  17. That's a good question to which I am not 100% sure. However, I know of one IS-F on a 59 plate that didn't have FLSH, but was still warrantied.
  18. Best advice I can give you is to get one with under 100k and less than 10 years old. That way (I believe) you can stick a Lexus extended warranty on it. These cars are generally bullet proof BUT when things go wrong... £££ I'd be looking at 1. Water pump 2. Steering rack (see here) 3. Airbag recall work done I'm sure others will add to the list
