    Awesome Glynn. I flew in to Wellesbourne on my first ever solo land away. After landing, I walked down to the Vulcan and had a good look around. Special place to me. I'm defo up for another look at the Vulcan.

    Guy's it's just been suggested to me to stagger things, allowing those that want to go to C&M to wander over to Wellesbourne if they want. So, 11am Touchdown Cafe, West side of Wellesbourne Mountford airfield. Airfield Estate, Loxley Rd, Wellesbourne, Warwick CV35 9EU

    Jus to clarify, I am not trying to discourage anyone from meeting at C&M. However, as the creator of the thread, I do feel a responsibility to inform you of C&M's intent to charge you for parking. Obviously it's your choice to go wherever you want 😀 Personally, I would prefer to organise an evening meet at C&M a little later in the year.

    C&M have announced £5 or £10 parking on the day. Shame really, as this event didn’t exist at the time I created the thread. Personally, I’m not interested in the publicised event or paying £10 to park. I propose keeping the tenner and meeting at the plan B location at Wellesbourne M. My tenner will be invested in a full fat full English brekkie.

    Yeh - fair point David. Guys, if this is a usual Lexus meet, I doubt there'll be more than 5 cars turn up anyway. I believe you need 8+ to book. So, providing we are all happy to be laid back about this, we'll just have to suck it and see on the day.

    @emjay82 started a thread on a great thread 'Elan Valley Breakfast Meet' and displayed some awesome video. I don't normally take a camera, but recently I did. So, if you've never journeyed over to Wales with us, here's are some images that depict the scenery and how an F car blends in. Let's hope Emjay82 organises another trip soon. Not sure why the images are being shown so small, you'll need to click on each one.

    I wouldn't panic. I've been there on the weekend it wasn't too bad. Yes, busy, but don't forget that busy means lots of cars to look at. 👍 We've also gone for an early time - from what I've seen, lunch time seems the worst.

    It’s a free country Sean and hence we can all have opinions. I’m not aware of any tribes. The efforts I have put in to organising blats and numerous events at Kemble, Cosford etc were all done as open events. Done for free with no benefit to me whatsoever. If I chose to organise events with certain members that I consider my friends, then so be it. This is not tribal. I’ll leave it there. I won’t respond to any further comments on a subject that has diverted far from the original unresolved issue.

    Thanks Mike. Can I ask why it was moved in the first place? There's still a meet sticky at the top of the list as we speak. Doesn't seem consistent.

    I’ve already answered your question regarding frequently posted car adverts, but I will reiterate that it is not transparent to me as to who these posts benefit.

    I question the usefulness as Autotrader, EBay, Lexus used etc can all be configured to generate alerts. Not sure why money has been mentioned. Please can you explain?
