    I used to own a 5 litre TVR Chimaera. I loved the fact that I could enjoy the car at low speeds. The good old RV8 made a great noise - popped and banged all the time. I could go fast, but speed wasn't mandatory in order to enjoy the vehicle. The F is a completely different animal. Refined, less agricultural, safe and no doubt vastly more capable. But I do find that to get the biggest smile on my face, I have to prod the F. With it being such a capable car, the speed limits are approached very quickly and very easily. I'd love to hear what you guys think. I'm guessing I'm going to be told to dump the stock exhaust.

    Actually, I think you've got that pic all wrong. These are all the Police cars that we destroyed by @Rusty Crobar's exhaust reverberations whilst they chased him from Kemble, all the way down the M4 to Welsh Wales!!!!!

    All those stats are based on the same age cars i.e for as long as the IS-F has been around. I'll check when I am back in the office re RS4, but I seem to recall it is the weakest out of the bunch.

    I don't believe anyone who said they've seen cake at Bristol Lexus. I don't think they even have bottled water anymore. Not that I expect any freebies.

    I wouldn't run an IS-F without a warranty. If you can get one outside of the Lexus dealerships and then get a Lexus warranty on it, sorted, happy days :)

    Once my ISF is out of warranty, I'd certainly look at an RCF. I much prefer the look to a GSF. Talking about exhausts, it is a shame that Lexus don't provide a sports exhaust. Would save faffing around looking for solutions from third parties :(

    I bet the RCF is actually very good on the road as a GT. Too many reviews are track based. I never go on the track, never will. What's the exhaust note like on the RCF?

    I've driven the E46 M3 and the E90 M3. Not driven the current M3 /M4 however. My main issue with the IS-F is that I feel I have to be going mach 1 to have fun. I'm guessing the M3/M4 would be just as bad! I still think BMWs have great steering, where as the IS-F is a little...... numb.

    I noticed that M4 prices are dropping pretty fast. Interestingly, the most expensive M3 (V8) is going for more than the cheapest M4.

    Who knows what will happen, but I think IS-Fs have got a fair way to fall yet. Like others have said, I don't see that the RCF / GSF offer much over the IS-F, but also, what does the IS-F offer over the RCF / GSF?
