    Sort of getting used to the blacked out rear now after a few days. Am pretty pleased with the look and happy in the knowledge no one can see me through it too :) oh and my kids have the privacy protection of course

    Did you spray it on and do both back and fronts of the F-Sport wheels with them off? Am thinking this might be my best option and only £7 a bottle I think

    One shade lighter than limo. Smoke would be fine on rear windscreen I think. Congratulations on your new IS, looks very sporty in Azure blue? Sweet. Is the white one next it your wife's?

    Pics please @tayaste. Regarding the tint I think the rear window might be a bit to dark as seeing out of it through the rear view mirror is quite dark. No need for the auto dimming feature now lol. Will see how it goes. Also other car headlights blead into the lines of the window through the tint. Maybe that's just how it is but might be asking to change it!!!

    As a cyclist I think the width of a car in fog is relevant. I wear specs from Specsavers incidentally ;)

    Not observed the lack of twin fog lights but have noticed the single reverse light but it looks aa though there is a space where the other reverse light should be. Agreee it seems an unnecessary design issue to not have both the reverse and rear fog lights. What happens when thrle bulb goes in either, we are left with no lights so that is a safety concern!! I love the exterior and cabin design but feel the 2nd gen was better built. Still it is a great car.

    Thanks, I really wasn't sure on colour but knew I didnt want to maintain black or white be it it looks nice especially in F-Sport white. I do think I could get away with not cleaning it as often as a black or white car :)

    I love my F-Sport because of the instrument panel, wheels and ride, seats and grill but I do appreciate it's personal preference at the end of the day. F-Sport suspension is firm but would argue it's still very comfortable over potholes more so than the CT Advance I had on loan before my IS arrived. I helped a relative buy a used Luxury model and felt the seats just didn't do it for me but he is more than happy.

    this is how my car looks (when I picked it up last month) I think the rear is tinted more than the fronts but it's not enough to give my kids the privacy I want. In that light the Sonic Titanium is lovely :) need to give it a clean and buff me thinks soon

    Car is booked in to get the rears tinted and I was thinking will go for the Smoke tint but might go for a shade darker but not sure with the colour of mine if it will look a bit odd.

    Whilst navigating it does try to re-route me for traffic on the route which is normally miles away yes, what I think the issue with the traffic announcements is they are either late to arrive (in a traffic jam already ) or too early to be a concern

    The way I see this is simply I am expensing the cost of the car payments each month. I did put down a sizable deposit around 10k so not sure how that has been calculated against my profit if at all!! I am in the process of changing accountants as my current one just doesn't get it.

    I guess that would be the point where it's best to change the car if the value of the car makes no sense offsetting against your profit. My plan is to keep changing in to a new car every 3 years but this is up for debate closer to the time. I didn't want a huge outlay from my business on a New car and nor did it seem worthwhile buying a used IS as the BIK is calculated on the new price. Really it comes down to cashflow and with a nearly 0% finance on a new car it made sense (I think it does!!)

    I don't have the ML system but have the Premium Nav which believe comes with the 8 speaker system. Compared to the 2nd Gen IS non ML it is inferia from my experience. The FM radio is muffled. Would certainly be interested in hearing the ML just a shame will need to wait 3 years at least till I change my IS300. DAB is a little clearer but when it looses signal that is far worse an experience! any tips on improving the audio quality from the settings is appreciated?

    I find with mine it warms me of traffic delays when I am already in a traffic jam was on my way down to Windsor the other day and warned me 4 times Is yours not warning you at all?
