And its still going lovely....
Haven't taken TVR out of the garage since picking ISF up as it's a delight - bit of an upgrade from the Clio before it though!
Good to know Dave , they are a great car no doubt and i am very glad i owned one. That poor TVR tho haha.

Yeah sold is privately .

Had my ISF for 10 months and loved it , it was in a long line of quick is saloons M5, M3 , RS6 , S6 , RS4 , E63 u get the idea.
So had my eye on one of these for a while and this little gem popped its head up 25 mins from my house , it would of been rude not to buy it.
So far i am v impressed with it.
My isf having its last was before it went .

I am 6'5" and fit in my F fine , no sunroof tho.

I have found in my opinion a jap car will go on for ever if serviced correctly and not modified. I am not talking about air filter and exhaust mods , but mapping , injectors etc.
Not forgetting the ISF has a lot of forged engine components and i think the car is slighty de tuned , so the end product should last a very long time .
I have had quite a few jap examples and never had any issues with them at all -
2 x Nissan bluebird turbos
2 x toyota supras
Nissan 300zx turbo
2 x nissan Skyline GTR's
4 x subarus
Evo 5
Mitsubishi Shogun
2 x is lexus

Looks fantastic in that light, it has a sort of silver tinge about it 😏
Big Rat
You are right , in low light it looks almost silver but in bright light like the picture it looks matt.

Yea, I was under the impression that they had been changed but wanted to confirm. It's popular with a lot of jap stuff as generally the lights are rubbish. Once I get to a meet I will be able to have a good look at other ISFs and see what's going on. The quality of the kick plates is very high, can only assume they are oem from another car.
Please tell me its the camera making your number plate look wonky .......

I bought a cheap ish system about a year ago , think it was about £160 from amazon on a deal of the day thing.
4 x cameras 720p , 1tb dvr and the payed an alarm fitter to fit them which cost me £80.
It works perfect for what i need , motion capture , you can export it easily to memory stick , it can be wired to a network if needed .Runs about 10 days on the highest quality setting , you can always put a bigger hdd in it.
Quality good enough i think.

How did you get on with your Monaros?
My CV8 was probably the worst car i've ever owned in terms of reliability and build quality. Used to chew through brakes every 5k (smaller much cheaper brakes than the VXR)
The power steering pump failed at 3 years old whining all the time (Vauxhall werent interested under warranty) then the power steering cooler hose blew off on my drive making a right old mess off the mono block. Had to replace one of the HP power steering hoses due to rot. Belts squealed everytime it rained - failed idler pulley. Most days from cold it wouldn't go into reverse and had to go through 1st to 4th before you'd get reverse. Diff oil was silver at three years old. Clutch would slip when warm trying to pull away quick - something to do with the servo oil overheating. Oh and water liked to leak in the doors.
Loved driving it though and that big old pushrod V8 was great to live with day to day. Driving in the snow was interesting lol.
Seriously considered a VXR8 but saw more issues with water leaks , gearboxes failing, wishbones failing after 5k and indicator faults so went back to Japanese cars.
Both of them had leaking radiator car (common ) black one split the radiator , but around £250 for a new one so not too bad.
THey both had ap brake upgrade so zero brake issues , black one had a ls7 clutch. Other than that nothing .
But i agree the build quality wasnt the best , but at £30k new what do u expect.

Spotted 2 Monaros on the list. Was it the same one again or did you just get another?
Nope 2 different ones, had a silver one first but then had to sell it due to having emergency spinal surgery . So couldnt get in it . But hen got a black one a few years later.

To be honest , the lag didnt seem so bad as the 3.6 motor on its own was quite strong. As when i bought it the cars wasnt making full boost. Drove like an E39 m5 to be honest .
Great car tho and wish i could of kept it .

Impressive. What was the M5 like?
Great handling car for its size , but liked a drink , oil too lol.
Yes i was sooo lucky to own a Lotus Carlton , every one of my car friends loved it. Every journey in it felt like an adventure as i got stopped and asked questions every day lol.
The main question being 'is that a real one ?'

Had my 60K service done June 2016 & paid £761 inc VAT. Here's what they did:
The 60k service includes:
Oil and filter change
· Pollen filter change
· Brake Fluid Change
· Diff oil change
· Spark plug change
· Key fob battery change
· Wheels removed and thorough inspection of brakes
· Coolant check
· Air Filter check
· Suspension check
· Light check
· Torque up the wheels
· Adjust tyre pressures
These are the main items covered in the 60k service.
The labour total is £397.44, and the parts/oil cost is £365.56.
Also got another quote from a different dealer who quoted me £895 and then dropped to £718 with LOC discount but didn't include the brake fluid change. Basically I went to 2 dealers, got 2 different prices and 2 different work schedules, ended up going to the one slightly further away from me & more expensive as I they did more items on the service and had treated me well in the past, IE not charged me for a courtesy car when I needed one & happy to drop you in to town & pick you up later whilst the car was serviced.
A deal can be done for less than £895 but just check what they actually do or don't do for the discount!
They dont change the coolant or air filter at the 60k service ?? Seems weird.

What year did they get the clocks upgrade to the large rev counter ?
