  1. Nah it's so @Flytvr can show us the fake carbon engine cover that's mentioned in the review. It's ok... Buyers remorse can happen to any of us. I felt the same when I went Xbox One over the PS4 or when I chose a white one over a black one in Amsterdam (but that's a story for another time) 😉
  2. Normally like Doug DeMuro and his quirky car reviews (his LFA one is good) but I reckon there will be a few dislikes with this one 😉 Enjoy
  3. Looks really good bud. If keeping mine I quite fancy getting my calipers done in an obnoxious "Valentino Rossi" Florescent Yellow 🙂 You should dechrome now for the "Murdered Out" look that the Audi RS4/6 boys (and girls) tend to go for on the VAG "Scene" 😉
  4. Taken from the Lexus website... Service Name Mileage Price Intermediate 10k / 30k / 50k / 70k / 90k £295 Full 20 20k £445 Full 40 40k £495 Full 60 60k £745 Full 80 80k £495 Full 100 100k £595 In terms of always having to have it serviced at Lexus, I believe that as long as you can show that the car has been serviced with original or OEM parts then you should be golden. I get my oil changed every 5k but a friend at his garage so get a local garage stamp every 5k but go to Lexus every 10k. Lexus have never queried it and were happy to renew my warranty after inspection. HTH 🙂
  5. Same. If I was in a position to purchase... RCF carbon in orange for me. I would then pretend I was driving around in a GT3 RS 4.0 in the Porsche Orange 🙂
  6. The black one with black exhaust ends could be me and the blue one is more than likely my friend who I work with (at that certain insurance company on a big roundabout) Yep. Will get something sorted.
  7. Ace. I bet that wailed like a banshee. A buddy of mine used to have a 458. Sounded incredible 🙂 I used to have a 350z. Loved the engine. Need to have a closer look at the Infinity as it appeals like the ISF in terms of rarity.
  8. @Toothy you know someone who bought an Infinity? 😉 What was that like? I have always liked the look of them Ps... What's a 358? Is it a mix between a 348, 355 and 458? 😉
  9. How are you finding the Takeda? I like the noise but not 100% convinced on it yet. I am pleased it keeps the dual stage noise as was concerned it would just be loud from the off. I also fitted it before exhaust so haven't actually heard exhaust on its own. May swap back to stock briefly to compare.
  10. Limited by modern being 2015 + but this will do nicely. I would also probably take one over an RCF (Flamesuit on)
  11. Awesome car. You would struggle to find one over 30k now though. Decent ones can be had in the 20k - 30k band. They also aren't "modern" according to the OP as modern cars are 2015 onwards. There I was thinking that the Ferrari 458 Italia was an old shed. So... 20k on the e90 M3 and 10k on a fun bus 🙂
  12. @Big Rat - My wife is a relationship manager between a very large insurer (none moaned about on here yet) and the comparison sites. It has its perks.... Trust me.. we haven't taken out this many policies through them 😉 I work for same insurer but in the IT department. Cost of declaring exhaust and intake modifications to ISF £13 🙂
  13. @ISF V8 JAY - whereabouts in Dorset are you bud? I have the Takeda intake and also a Fox cat back exhaust from Germany if you wanted to have a listen 1st hand. I live in Poole.
  14. @Flytvr - Issue is that with everyone replying to a thread named "Too many Sticky Posts" this post itself has become a sticky in it's own right (including this reply) 😉 So... until this post gets deleted I think we should all just keep replying to it just to wind you up further. You reap what you sow 😉
  15. @Big Rat... Go here... It was my favourite bar when I worked out in Singapore Ice Cold Beer Bar in emerald hill. Provides what it says.
  16. No. It sounded lovely as far as a hot hatch goes. If it was a saloon sounding like that then my perception of it would be somewhat different. We used to have an R56 Mini Cooper S with JCW exhaust which sounded lovely as well. So a 1.6l turbo can sound lovely while owning a V8 as well 🙂 Funnily enough I was in it last night. Sounds like a Group B rally car on full naughty mode.
  17. Luckily I pressed the restart button and all was ok 😉
  18. Too much "Speed" Photo taken by me. Car driven by me. I am winning surely
  19. You would have 30 days to return the car under the consumer rights act if you found out the problem within that period. Would hope that any issues would be found on a test drive though. Not good customer services from a supposed premium brand but if purchased directly from a dealer I would hope they would honour any issues. If not.... Twitter and Facebook are your friends to kick up a fuss.
