Hi,
I can only speak of the same problem but that was on my mk1 LS.
On the mk1 theres a seam where two panels join, when the boot is open on the mk1 if you look at the frame/edge where the boot lid fits into when its shut, near the bottom rear window corners of each side it might be the same
I smeared some sealant in the panel join and it fix the problem on my car.
Hope that might be of some help.
In the picture the area is around where the boot hinges are..

Hi,
I think you mean uncompressing from how ive read it.
It might be the top mount/s of the suspension knocking as they move back into place.

Hi,
Im not sure what you mean by bottom window seal,do you mean the front or rear window or on a door window?
If its a door seal then you might have to take the door panel off to get at the mould.

hi.this may sound silly.i have a 430 with 17" tims and 225/55 tyres.has anyone fitted 16" rims with comfort tyres(60) profile?.i do 50,000 miles per year and comfort is important
Hi,
Im not sure of the standard size wheels and tyres on the LS430 or the optional sizes.
It would be worth finding out about though.
If you do just change profile sizes and not alloy sizes then you may find that the speedo might give a false reading eg faster or slower.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
How long has the problem been happening, all the time youve owned the car or just lately?
Has any work been done on the car lately?
Has the car hit any potholes or driven over anything?
Does the vibration come just through the steering wheel or through the whole of the car?
Is the vibration worse if the car is loaded with people eg more weight in the car.
Id say a UJ on the propshaft is worn or the prop is slightly out of balance.

Hi,
As everyones said..
Blocked Rad.
Sticky thermostat.
Airlock in system.
Water pump worn or broken.
What happens if you put the heater temp on max hot when the temp gauge is high, does that reduce the gauge temp and is the heat from the heater really hot?
