Hi and Welcome to LOC :)
Do do your homework by looking through the LS section of the forum before you buy one. They are very expensive to put right if theres stuff wrong with them.

Hi,
If you have OEM discs then you would more than likely be better off with OEM pads.
Car manufacturers test and test parts before they put the cars on sale and find a good compromise with performance/wear.
There is a tolerance on the disc width before they need replacing, its more down to how hard you are on the brakes as to how much the discs wear and the life of the discs.
Cheers..

Hi,
I might be worth spraying some WD40 down the window runners. My front passengers side window was lazy when going up.All the window rubbers were dry and causing drag on the window/glass.
I sprayed the window runners/rubbers and frame up and bobs your uncle, its now faster than the others.
I must do the rest now :D

Hi and Welcome to the LOC :)
Sounds like a sensor on one of the wheels could be at fault causing the light to come on,on start up and staying on i take it?
You would be better off walking away rather then buying the car with this fault as it could be costly for you to fix if its a bigger problem than a faulty sensor.
Cheers..

Hi and Welcome to the LOC :)
If you can get the insurance the IS300 would be a better bet, better performance for around the same mpg.

Hi,
Did you change just the lower ball joints or did you do the upper ones as well.
The noise could also be coming from the top mounts of the suspension.
Cheers..

Hi,
If the discs are worn and there is a lip on the outside edge of the disc that could be the metal sound if the brake pads are getting low.
The feel from the brake pedal could be from slightly warped discs.
Hope thats of some help.
