Hi,
Im not 100% sure because ive only owned the mk1 LS.
It might be worth checking the disable the boot release function thats inside the car.On the mk1 you put the key in and turned it to allow the boot to be opened with the remote and with the boot release function. On the right hand side of the steering wheel inside the car.

Hi and Welcome to the LOC :)
It might be worth checking all of the electrical plugs going to the ABS brake sensors. It could be just a poor connection due to corrosion causing the fault. It might also be worth taking out and cleaning the connections on all the light bulbs on the front and rear lights on your car.
My rear fog light wasnt working,i thought the bulb had gone it turned out to be corrosion on the connections.

Hi,
I spend as little as i can on the car,i used to spend all/nearly all my money on my cars over the years, but over time and learning the hard way ive found you never get your money back.So nowadays ive learnt if its not broke dont fix it ;)
I like the car to be safe and road worthy.

Hi,
Yep sounds like having the tracking checked would be your first and cheapest option.
Was it the front wheel,if it was the rear wheel then id say there could be a bigger problem.
To have the tracking checked/adjusted will cost around £20 to £30.
Good Luck.

Hi,
Ive added some more pictures to my earlier post on the first page of this thread :)
Chips..
Did you get your alignment done after you installed coilovers?
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply only just saw your reply :D
Yep because of the changes to the ride height it changes all the wheel alignment and unless its checked you might find uneven tyre wear and strange handling/road holding.

Hi,
I had the same problem when i owned my LS.
Lexus wanted around £230 for a new replacement boot part that talks with the key remote.
From what ive read the range is not that good with the key remote anyway.
You would be better off having a aftermarket alarm fitted, that should be able to lock/unlock the doors and maybe even the boot. You might also get a discount on your car insurance.
The price of a alarm fitted should be around £300 all in fitted. The car would also be more secure than the factory alarm.

Hi,
Most garages that do fit Suspension parts etc would have the equipment or know of another garage that would be able to check/adjust the geometry.
This site should be able to answer garages able to check the geometry.

Hi,
Ive got Tein coilovers on my car,not the cheapest but ive not heard a bad word said about them.
After having them fitted to my car it really made the world of difference to the road holding/handling.
The EDFC box of tricks is worth a look, allows you to adjust the shock absorbers stiffness from inside the car, rather than have to get the spanners out to adjust the setup B)
The ride height is fully adjustable, but you do need the spanners to do that though.
What ever brand you go for its worth getting the geometry looked at because lowering the ride height will throw it all out.
Heres Teins uk website, your car is listed on there.
