The router can be found under a small hatch in the booth once you lift up the spare wheel cover see picture
The Lexus subscription set up is however a bit more tricky as you have to set it up on the app , take your photo and set up direct debit subscription for minimum £8/month
As others have said the Lexus subscription at 2G for £8/ month is not really value for money I signed up for it for like three months on my previous car but have not bothered to activate on this current car. I simply use my phone data allowance.
Welcome to the forum is this your first Lexus ? Did you get the hybrid or the LS 500. You will find a lot of enthusiastic owners here. Am sure you would find the LS an epitome of luxury.
I agree with you I used their free Wi-Fi for six months and thereafter turned it off. It’s a ripoff @ £8/month for 2GB and as you said they’ve locked the box to just Orange network. Thus the customer has no choice!
I had a late MG Montego EFI (with the talking dash) didn’t really give me much trouble. It was very fast and I enjoyed it for about eighteen months then bought a Rover 827 sterling with the Honda engine. I suppose by the time the late edition models of those cars came out the factories have ironed out most of the commonly reported problems.

You have a point there Linas “why would Lexus commit money to develop a short run TTV8” when they already have a V10 that can be updated. The problem I see is that the V10’s will fall foul of emission regulations in most markets forcing most manufacturers to go the way of forced induction with slightly lesser capacities. If you look at the latest products from AMG for example they are 4.0 litres turbocharged with mild hybrid pairing . Thus one can look at this story from different perspectives.
That’s good Alan hopefully after about 4 months of driving following delivery you can share such spreadsheet data on the forum. Though some my say such data will be a reflection of your own driving style but it should be shared nevertheless .
I also have a vehicle on order with Stephen Eagell branch in Ipswich and their customer service is exemplary all the way, I have been getting a monthly update calls since November of las year. Perhaps your experience in their Cambridge branch is an exception to the norm.

Generally the RX delivery timescale has improved. Ordered mine November 2021 dealer expecting car by March ending so am collecting first week in April.
