From Nottingham to Hemel Hempstead last Saturday the car averaged 31.4mpg. That is with average speed of 72 mph with some sections of the M1 down to 50mph

Well it seems you’ve worked out a cruising strategy for dealing with high fuel prices 😂😂

Hatfield and Ipswich - great for us.
Similarly I have bought from both their Hatfield and Ipswich branches both have excellent customer service not just for sales but when I have gone there for servicing.

can somebody tell me can you get the internet with the wifi on an 2021 rx450h
Al RX from 2020 MY onwards has a built-in Wi-Fi transmitter module in the booth but is locked to Orange thus you can’t insert other SIM cards. Speak to Lexus Connectivity Team 01737 367026. They will guide you through the set up process if you wish to take up their subscription which was about £8/month for 2G data the last time I checked

See another related thread on this forum which is discussing fuel tank issues
I'm not sure if the diesel tank is the same, maybe start a new thread as you'll have more of a chance of an answer.
I'm wondering if it's possible to actually repair your tank. I know it's possible to re-line a petrol tank. As for the shield. Can it not be cleaned up and a metal patch welded where the hole is? Ask the mechanic and do some research.
As for used, there's a Lexus breakers in Accrington. I know they have quite a few Lexus cars, I've actually been there in person for a couple of trim pieces. Look them up as they do post items.

Just treated myself to a 2015 RCF from Lexus Hedge End in Southampton.
Fantastic people to deal with.
The car is white with only 19000 miles on the clock. It’s immaculate and looks like it’s had a pampered life.
Absolutely blown away by the car.
I’ve had lots of performance cars over the years ranging from M3’s to Lotus Exiges, TVRs and VXR8’s.
This RCF just seems the complete package. And the noise is to die for.
Anyone else from the Hampshire area?Lovely ❤️ Enjoy the trills of the V8.

The Catwow video stated it is likely to be marketed around the £60K mark

One does not buy a Lexus to give anything a run for its money Banji.
Buy something else.
Not sure I follow your point. Am a complete Lexus enthusiast and currently driving my 6th Lexus car. But that doesn’t stop me from admiring other car makes especially if they are as good looking as this Lotus. We also have other cars in our household so am not wedded to just one brand

Different breed of vehicle.
One is a GT car and this is designed more for the race track. I highly doubt refinement and build quality will be as good as the LC. The other issue is yes, the engine may be reliable but the electronics could potentially be a nightmare
Apparently Lotus have upped their game on R&D front; see the reviews on their other super car.

Well it looks nice on the screen; I suppose the installation instructions were written in English; did you have to take your dashboard apart to install the kit?

A video of the 450h+ is showing here; this will most certainly be the most popular choice for UK buyers.

Sorry I didn’t know the answer to your question. Perhaps you should pose the question on the LC forum where it would get better response

It seems the delay issues being experienced by the ES buyers is model specific. I ordered an RX in the 3rd week of November 2021 and took delivery of my new car on 23March 2022; which was a record 4 months. Am ware Lexus have three manufacturing plants in Japan and the RX is built in Aichi, not sure where the ES is built? This may explain the delays, in addition to the global semiconductor shortages.

You are right I‘be checked again the Takumi does have AVS but driving it in real life it doesn’t feel as stiff when thrown into corners say @(50mph) as compared to the Fsport under the same driving conditions. I personally prefer the Takumi hence I have bought two in succession. Happy driving when you take delivery.

Hi Talapwros - the comparison may be on another thread. Certainly not here. Apar from the obvious physical features (such as alloy wheels, different grille and different interior fixtures) the major difference is the Fsport has taughtier suspension with AVS which is not fitted to the Takumi . The Takumi has more sumptuous ride.

Hi Trevor
I collected my RX Takumi on the 22nd March so it would have come as part of the same batch as yours.
The router can be found under a small hatch in the booth once you lift up the spare wheel cover see pictureThe Lexus subscription set up is however a bit more tricky as you have to set it up on the app , take your photo and set up direct debit subscription for minimum £8/month
As others have said the Lexus subscription at 2G for £8/ month is not really value for money I signed up for it for like three months on my previous car but have not bothered to activate on this current car. I simply use my phone data allowance.

Well I hope the Old Bill are not snooping on this platform thus ‘it was indeed a typo’ I meant to type 70mph.
