  1. Seems like the questions I've asked are the ones he doesn't want to answer. I'd have thought 2200 was very good money for it
  2. Been looking at these. I've had a gs3000 how do these compare. Some ads are saying 4wheel drive. Is this correct. Are they all like that. Thanks
  3. No,have seen the ad. Asked some questions and had no response. It's had a few owners. And looking at the mats it looks a bit grubby.would have to be cheap
  4. Hi Phil. That wouldn't be a high mileage burgundy one would it
  5. I'm new to the forum and as yet not an ls owner I've had a 9-5 aero. Very quick, even an auto . But I don't think they're well built. And are pretty thirsty for what they are
  6. Thanks Mike. I've been reading up for a while. I had a tired old gs3000 for a month as a stop gap and loved it so I thought I'd go for an ls now. There's a gold ls430 on Gumtree in Ireland that's look ok. Not sure on colour though.also a blue one on ebay in Wales.
  7. Flipping hell I'm on the look out for my first ls.Looks like I'm going to have to be careful. I hope this forum is as much help as the mx5 ones
  8. . Yes but slow. Yes, and no problem. Lots on info in that thread. saw this and only just read it. I've seen a car I like in Ireland. It's in a dealers. Do they get the tax money back too if they sell to a UK buyer or is it just private sellers. Seems to good to be true. I can sell my mk1 mx5 and get a nice ls instead
  9. Just a reminder, as you may not have seen the discussion earlier this year, that there are some bargains to be had buying an LS430 in Ireland. My (long, convoluted) thread is here http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/97839-importing-and-insurance/ but the key points are road tax is over £1200 a year for big cars in Ireland, which motivates people to sell, and owners get a refund of import duty if they sell for export. Here's an example - https://www.donedeal.co.uk/cars-for-sale/lexus-ls430-only-73k-miles/10925729 Good Luck Jon just been looking at prices in Ireland. Is it straightforward buying and bringing it to uk. Do I have to get a plate change and is it no problem with insurance
