I've been told by a dealer who's selling a car with one key that his is the master key because he lexus told him only that key opens the glove box. Is that right

It was a nice car. Dealer wouldn't budge on price though so passed on it. It's on autotrader. Blue one if anyone's looking

Does anyone know how much a key costs for one please. Just spoke to lexus and they've said its 230 to have a new one and if its not the master key I've got it'san expensive job to get a new one is that right.

Is it more involved to have a cambelt changed when a car has Alps system fitted, it's a ls430. also do you have to have any types of certificate of installation to be able to insure a car fitted with it

Being as my name has been dragged into this. Let me confirm I'm not a dealer. Unfortunately I have to work for a living as a plasterer. I'm a car nut whos decided yo try different cars out hoping to find the right one for me.And the times I've inadvertently mentioned my LS was for sale I have received messages warning me it's not allowed. Although I do think not being to mention my car may be for sale because I'm not a gold member is a bit strong. I'm on a few forums and the best is mx5nutz. You can tell people your car is for sale or ask if anyone may have on without worrying about getting told off. At the end of the day they're your rules. If we don't like then we don't have to use the forum

The power difference isn't an issue. I had an xjr and didn't like it because of the power. I'm more interested in tge differences between the ride and stereo. Both of which my Mk4 is brilliant
