    Picked up a second hand amp today and have discovered I've several blown speakers and sub. Are any of these replaceable with after market ones or am I better off fitting standard second hand ones. Bit gutted at moment as one of the reasons i bought a lexus was for the stereo

    The volvo is an s80 lux so is well kitted out .but I hate driving . On the other hand I actually liked driving the little twingo. Was quite nippy too being a turbo.amazing that I sold the twingo and had money left to buy the ls430 and have the money left to pay for its Cambelt. As anyone fitted front brake pads on a ls . Are they are pain. Thinking of pagid. Any advice

    Well the wife drove it today and loves it. Never thought she say it but so much nicer than the volvo . Think I may lose it to her. I was running about in this before and she hated it.

    As far as I can tell they don't all have all the toys. I think you need the premium pack. They don't have stainless exhaust. I've just bought my ls430 on Friday and I had a nice mk4 400 before that. The 430 is a nicer place to be in . More modern. The 400 is a bit more retro to me and did feel better built to be honest.

    It had good mot history. Got full lexus history. Didn't drive it as he offered silly money on part x. Nice car. Got a small piece of lacquer peel on boot. A touch up about 3 inches on bonnet. Needs two tyres . And the rear exhaust boxes are a bit scabby underneath. Not blowing. Headlights are a bit foggy.Engine was very quiete. He wouldn't drop for cash either. If I'd had the cash outright I may have had it but seeing a blue one up close I changed my mind.hope this helps

    He did say he had it on there but all he had was people making silly offers without viewing. I bought it off of pistonheads. Says sold on Gumtree add if you read it

    Cleaned up pretty well. Few stone chips on the bonnet . Lexus paint seems soft compared to the volvo. Interior is really nice . Drivers seat a bit saggy

    Just did a 5 hour round trip with Mrs chasdad to collect it. First thing I've noticed it's either got a sticky caliper or it needs front discs. But most annoying is a tick tick that's coming through the speakers. The stereo isn't producing sound so could be the amp. But I've got sound through sat nav. Do they have a different sound source. Also on the audio settings when I try to adjust fader bass or treble nothing moves on screen. Could this be down to the amp . Car is lovely other than that

    Not yet. Have a no fault claim pending and my quotes have doubled until it's sorted. Think I'm going to have to just buy the car and park it in drive . Until the lying toe rag who hit me gets the blame

    Just gone to change my vehicle to the ls430 I'm picking up tomorrow and have been told the cars too old. Won't insure it. That's a first

    I may end up eating my words as of Friday. I've not picked it up yet. If I can't sort the stereo out I may be back tracking very quickly
