  1. OK, I'll try that and report back. Thank you. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  2. My old car, didn't have DAB but the track info listing worked. I just thought with this car being more than 3 years younger, it would do the same. I'll have a play when it finally stops raining! Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  3. The radio station I listen to, Smooth, does display info. It used to work in my old car, but it doesn't seem to with the Lexus. I've tried the text button but I'll have another go and post back. I have a USB stick so I'll try that too. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  4. My car doesn't have the flip screen, just the non auto changer version radio/CD. Can I ask, what is the "text" button for. Whatever I try, I can get it to do anything and the 700 page instruction manual doesn't help much. I take it that I'm asking too much for it to display an SMS on the radio display? Also, is it not possible to display track information when a song is playing on the radio or a CD? Has anyone tried to use NFC tags to activate Bluetooth? I've programmed a tag successfully, but although it activates the Bluetooth on my smartphone, it immediately deactivates and the Bluetooth pairing with the car radio is lost. I tested it outside of the car and it worked fine, things just go pear shaped when I try it in the car. Happy Boxing Day guys! Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you Rich2508. As long as I know what I'm experiencing is normal, I'm happy. I do use the windscreen demister to clear the screen. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks for the heads up. I mostly use cold water to defrost my windscreen/windows, but will bear this in mind. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  7. Well I've had my car for a few weeks now and I have a question. When I set off for work in the morning, I've noticed that the heater fan doesn't come on until I've been driving for 3 minutes. This might not sound like a long time, but my journey to work is only 10 minutes or so. Is this normal? I've noticed that it only happens from cold start in the morning, if I use the car at weekend and do a few short journeys, the heater comes on almost immediately on the second and subsequent journeys. Off topic - How do I contact admin on this forum, the forgot password function doesn't appear to be working and I can only post from Tapatalk. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  8. You're spot on Mikey. 2 intermediate and one full service and free MOT's for the life of the plan. It's actually £735 in total, not £750, I got it wrong. When you say discount, do you mean if I have gold membership with the forum? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  9. There's 10,800 on the clock Mikey. It was last serviced in September this year. It's had it's 12 months intermediate service in January 14, 2 year full service in January 15, and then another intermediate in September 15 for some reason. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks guys. At least I know what I'm experiencing is "normal". I don't think I have the option to adjust the rears on my SE stompe. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  11. Just want to say hello. Got my new to me, CT200H, last Friday. I've already asked a,question and added to existing posts in the CT200H forum. This seems a friendly place. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  12. I'm having the same intermittent problem. Sometimes the drivers door opens the passenger door, other times it doesn't. It came with the 12 month warranty, so I'll get the dealer to check it out when it has to go for MOT in January. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  13. I'm still learning about my car, only got it last Friday. Someone tapped on my side window this week to ask me if I knew I had no rear lights, turned out I just had the daytime running lights on [emoji5] Anyway, back to my main question, the front parking sensors don't seem very responsive. They're working as I've got someone to walk in front of them, but they don't go off when I'm parking up and aren't as sensitive as my last car. They seen to be located on the side of the bumper rather than the front I don't want to damage the bumper by testing them out, is this the norm or should they be more responsive? 14. Not wanting to hijack, but i'm new here. I picked my Jan 13 62 reg up last Friday. The dealer offered me a 3 year service package for £750. I do less than 5k miles a year, that may increase with the fuel savings, but I'm thinking I was offered a reasonable deal. What do you guys think? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
