  1. It was definitely a tongue in cheek post Dan [emoji13] Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  2. Lol. They're not cheap either are they. Fancy thinking someone with a luxury car would even consider these! Cheap and chavvy. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. I suffered from terrible car sickness as a child, but only as a back seat passenger. It was something to do with not being able to see forwards. If seated in front it never bothered me and once I started to drive I never experienced it again. Can't say I've noticed anything like it with the CT thank goodness, had mine a year now. 4. Well I finally got around to booking the car in today as the MOT is due next week. I asked about the two recalls and was told they weren't doing them at the moment as the parts were on back order, so I'm booked in for just the MOT, they'll let me know when the parts are available. 5. We had a ride to Holmfirth in Summer. On the way home, I had to use the B gear for the first time as the hills are so steep, the battery was topped up to bursting after that! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  6. I used to have this with my Peugeot after I'd washed it. Happens to me with the CT too. Can't do the brakes any good though. Was considering parking on the flatter side of the drive during the cold weather and leaving the park brake off. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. Good to hear you had no issues. Got my recall letter yesterday for both the charcoal canister and airbag issue. Letter advised less than 3/4 tank of fuel but i intend to get it down to less than half. I only filled the tank the same day as the letter arrived, so it'll be a while! The MOT expires in January, just wondering if they could do the whole lot on the same day? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  8. You missed a bit [emoji13] Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. Yesterday I woke to find I had a flat... seriously, I did, another in the same month. A great screw stuck sideways in the outer edge of the tyre, no patching up this time, new tyre needed. My mates are asking if I've upset anyone. This time it was that badly damaged that I couldn't inflate it long enough to get to the nearest tyre fitters and I haven't had time to get a space saver. A good friend helped me out and gave me a lift to work and took the wheel to Lexus. I now have 3 Yokohama's and 1 Bridgestone, ah well. Did I mention I get a lot of punctures? 10. That's a very kind gesture Paul :) Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Funnily enough, while I was in waiting for my puncture to be repaired last week, the lady on the service desk was ringing customers to book them in for recall work, she quite clearly stressed that the cars should have less than half a tank of petrol, one customer even commented that he had only just filled up and it would be January before he'd have half a tank, this made me laugh! 12. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't fit to be honest after I'd researched that it would and sourced a good quality one quite cheaply. There could be a slight difference between the pre and post 2010 I suppose. Don't want to take any chances next time, will have to be one specifically for the car. The Prius one is on eBay, hoping one of the local taxis might need a spare. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  13. Mmm, I wonder if I should be clearing them at all then, even with a rubber ended wiper. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  14. Someone set a firework off here at 07:15, I kid you not, it woke me up! Seemed like fun when we were kids, but not anymore :( Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. Or the windscreen! On a brighter note, atleast you didn't find a teenager with a third degree burn on his backside after attempting a steve-o with a rocket. All for £10 he told me! :O Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  16. That's what I said. What would the odds be! Yeah, it could've hit the screen, the roof or the bonnet. Shame the garage is full of rubbish or I'd try and put the car in it to prevent this. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  17. Fortunately no serious damage, it's just been one of those weeks :( Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  18. Woke up this morning to find this. It's the stick from a BIG rocket. It had wedged itself in the grill and broke it, not happy! What with my puncture on Tuesday, the car narrowly missed being set on fire in Wednesday (the car parked next but one had an electrical fire) and now this?! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  19. We have mini one of those things window cleaners use? It clears the rain off without scratching. I appreciate Lexus doing this so the windows don't get scratched, but it can be difficult to see on these Autumn mornings. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  20. I have a mysterious rattle also, will check if this is the cause. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  21. ...no problem I thought. Just remove the wheel and fit the Prius space saver I'd already got for this eventuality. Not so easy. First of all, the wheel was stuck on. I removed all the nuts and it wouldn't budge. I yanked and yanked at it but it wouldn't move. So, (bearing in mind I'm a lady and don't have a garage full of tools), I called Lexus assistance. No problem they said, someone will be with you within an hour. Sure enough, an AA man turned up within the hour. He said the wheel had seized, it was quite common, and used a lump hammer with a soft end to whack the back of the alloy, which finally came free. He kindly fitted my Prius space saver and off he went. OK I thought, I'll just ring Lexus to see if they could repair it. They told me to take it down later this afternoon. So I set off for work with the space saver. I didn't get very far though. As soon as I set off, I noticed a noise coming from the wheel like something was catching, I took the space saver off and found the inside of the wheel was rubbing against the brake calliper, not good. So I had no option but to fit the punctured tyre and wheel back on the car and pray that I could get enough air in it to make it to the garage. I eventually got the tyre fixed by Lexus at a cost of £15, but they washed and vacuumed the car for me too. So it appears although the Prius (2010) spare is supposed to fit the CT, I'd got the info from http://www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Lexus/CT200h%20(2011%20-%20).html in reality, it doesn't. So I'm back with the goo until I can source a Lexus space saver at a reasonable price. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  22. Thank you. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  23. Ooh! Lovin' that colour! Never seen it before. Shame I've bought mine for long term or I'd look out for one that colour. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  24. No, someone has posted on here how to modify it to make it fit though.
