I had a similar problem with motorbikes stored over the winter and it usually turns out to be rodents chewing the wiring and causing electrical problems!!

I know what you mean, at times I wished it had a bit more go, I started to look for aftermarket mods but could not find much other than the stuff available in the USA. A supercharger would be interesting!!!! Enjoy the car.

Welcome, lovely car and very few of them around in that colour, absolutely identical to the one I had, I swapped it in for an IS-F in November, keep us updated of any modifications!!

Welcome Andy, I am sure you will love the car, mine is a 2011, LSD, dab radio with integral hard drive but no DRLs which really does not bother me. Mine has the white leather, I use Turtle Wax leather cleaner on a regular basis, it seems to work.

Welcome, I had the same model and spec, Mark Levinson is epic, my only gripe was the overly tall 6th gear, the car did not feel happy under 80-85 mph, great car though!!

I had a 2008 IS220d SEL, nice car but the fuel consumption was not great in town or on a run, 6th gear way too tall, I changed it for a 250 F Sport auto, in my opinion overall a much better car.

My first car was definitely left field, 17 years old I bought a VW K70L ( Google it) 1800ccc twincam if I remember correctly and front wheel drive and my god did it understeer, everywhere. Moved onto Saab 99, Alfa sprint veloce, Carlton 3000gsi, Capri 3,0S and 25 years later very content in an IS-F.

Hi Gareth, I went from an IS250 F Sport to an IS-F only last week, so I know what you are going through, I bought my car with my heart and not my head although I don't regret the decision one bit. I really believe the residuals will start to look a lot better on the IS-F in the next couple of years, I think they are completely off the radar to a lot of people and once the market realise how rare they are and the fact you have amazing performance and legendary reliability they will start to become even more desirable. If you have a V8 itch that needs scratching then buy one, you will not regret it, believe me (see my earlier post of first week of ownership) Good Luck!!

So i have had the IS-F for one week and i have realised one or two things. Aged 55 and i counted the days until i collected the car, not felt like this since my 3.0s Capri ( a 2 door hooligans Ford for those of you lucky enough to be under 45) I am taking the longest route on every journey. The superb Mark Levinson sound system has been redundant, just drop the window and listen to the exhaust note. Everyone in the office wants me to take them out in it. The Mini that i planned to use to keep the fuel costs and mileage down on the IS-F has not turned a wheel all week. I cannnot walk away from it without looking back. I was out on a "spirited drive" yesterday afternoon and realised i would probably not have gone much faster, if at all, on either of my motorcycles. Pleased is an understatement!!!!!

Hi Mark, No, the one I bought is from Cardiff, Ultra Blue, 26,000 miles, just got home with it now, big grin on my face!!!
