Have to agree about the meetings Stu, I met up with Flytvr at Kemble airfield a few weeks ago along with another IS-F owner who just happened to be there, what are the chances of that. It was a really good few hours, swapping opinions and chatting about our car history. We will be meeting again at the same place in the next few weeks, I will post the actual date when I have one, hopefully a few more owners might turn up.

I turn up at Kemble airfield on Sunday to meet Dav or FlyTvr as he is known on here and we happento meet a guy with an IS-F who just happened to be there, not a member on here, but hopefully soon to be, anyway we took the opportunity for a couple of photos.

Well i have just got back from a trip to Andorra, just over 2000 miles and apart from a couple of occasions it didn't bother me at all. At 68 - 72 mph is where it is droning, I normally set the cruise around 80 mph or slightly above, at this speed it is fine, in fact the faster I go the easier it is on the ears!!!!!! I think it is a personal thing, the passenger didn't complain either but some people may not like it, as I have said, if you want to listen for yourself then let me know, I am sure we can sort something out.

Yes he has contacted me, asked if I would sell my car, politely told him it is not for sale, he asked if I would let him know if I ever decided to sell. It is an unusual approach and it did make me wonder if he was genuine, he certainly seems keen to find what he wants.

The cats are still in place and there is no x pipe fitted, this is probably why there is such a price difference, if you want to listen to it I am not that far from you, just drop me a PM. One thing they did say was they can make alterations in the future, x pipe, cat removal etc

Yes, not that far from you, I just called in and let them have a quick look to give me a rough idea of how long it would take. Yes there is some droning as they said there would, it is around 2000rpm which if you are on a motorway or duel carriageway and travelling at legal speeds is right in that range. I don't do many motorway miles so it doesn't bother me, however I am taking the car to Andorra in 2 weeks time, I may think differently when I get back!!!!!

The exhaust is a custom build by Infiniti Exhausts, took them 4 hours to make from scratch in high grade stainless, they give you the options on tail pipes sound etc and then make it, great guys to deal with, they have a facebook page with most of their work on it. £500 all in.
