  1. I cannot support that sort of behaviour, hooligans, no need for it, there will be none of that nonsense in Wales........................................will there?
  2. Glad its an easy fix, but strictly speaking Russell its not mechanical, therefore we are still waiting and @Big Rat do you have a catalogue of pictures you just pull from a database, actually don't answer that......................
  3. I do run a second car, as a day to day car I have a Honda Civic 1.6 Sport , not quite sure where the Sport bit comes in, great car, cheap to run and super reliable keeping the ISF for weekends etc, but to answer your question I would consider one at the right money when I am ready to change.
  4. Only just seen this question @Big Rat 2007 RX350 great car, colour was Champagne 2008 IS220d good but 6th gear was useless below 80mph, fuel consumption was rubbish as well. Colour was.........................................silver....................... 2010 IS250F Sport great car. looked the business, a bit underpowered, in Ultra Blue.................naturally............... As I said all 3 were used everyday and the RX and IS diesel had a lot of miles in a short space of time and not one penny had to be spent on them, not even a bulb needed replacing.
  5. Yes it does depend on all those factors , but unless the discs are made of chocolate, no way In 20,000 miles.
  6. I just don't see how the car can need discs and pads in 20,000 miles irrespective of how it clocked up the miles admittedly motorway miles are a lot kinder on the brakes but discs and pads in 20k, no way.
  7. Well I wouldn't wish that on anybody but it does seem that engine failure is not that uncommon, have seen a clip on youtube where an M3 suffers catastrophic engine failure and a thread on Piston Heads where an M5 let go and the owner was facing a 33k yes 33k bill for a replacement engine.
  8. Love those wheels, prefer them to mine. Spot on there @emjay82 at least £5 grand............................
  9. Good post, it does seem the car stands up well to a good thrashing with little or no consequences, I had the pleasure of pushing mine very hard for around 120 miles last year on a road trip to Andorra, extremely hard braking from 3 figure speeds in and around the Pyrenees and as you say no fade and all temperatures remaining normal, great car.
  10. Same spec as mine, colour and interior, for a guide mine is 2011 bought with 27000 on it 18 months ago from Lexus Cardiff for £30,000 which seemed a very good deal at the time, say the car has depreciated 10% since I bought it, now has 36000 on the clock, that puts mine at £27,000 which makes the 2010 about right price wise, if that makes any sense. Of course, the colour adds value
  11. At last............. Stunning job, looks really good, the blue ones are the fastest as well............................ @Flytvr and @Big Rat and a couple of other friends will be along shortly...........................
  12. Enough of the cake, I am trying to lose some weight here, extra performance and all that.............................
  13. Great stuff, wish I was there, so good to hear the car performed well.
  14. Oh well, why didn't you say earlier, I get it now
  15. Yes that surprises me, but lets face it Ze Germans do have history when it comes to accurate reporting of their vehicles.............VAG Group....................
  16. Mad, all of you, whatever medication you are all on, get off it before we go to Wales....................
  17. I have left it in the hands of Lexus Swindon, I had so much trouble trying to find a set I asked them to source any of the premium brands for me and they will fit them at the service.
  18. Shame I missed it, never mind, Wales in a few weeks, car booked in for service and tyres the week before............woop ........woop.........
  19. As others have said, they are not on peoples radar at the moment, I think this will continue for a number of years, I personally think they will drop below 10k but it will only take a couple of cars going through the right auction houses for people to notice what a bargain they have become, this, in my opinion will be the bottom of the depreciation curve, then they will start to rise, I am absolutely convinced they will become an all time classic.
  20. I am going to ring the dealer for a bit more info on the car........................
  21. Great choice sir. You will not regret it, you may regret speaking to one or two other members on here but never mind, they will be along shortly.......
