    Never had the pleasure of a VXR8, I started to look at them just before I got my IS-F, I do like them although I am glad I went with the Lexus.

    That 9 volt battery you were driving was very nice, notice the complete lack of drama, whereas the blue one, well the sound on its own was enough..............

    If you click on my profile photo Ben you will see I have tailpipes identical to the GS-F, I had them first!!!!!!!!! other than that I don't have any photos, I will take a couple from underneath the car and if they turn out ok I will post them up on here.

    I have seen 2, one at a Lexus dealer waiting for a service and one parked in Chippenham a few months back, both silver naturally, never actually seen one on the move though.

    I just cannot believe how much they are charging for these tips, £400 for a piece of stainless 75mm long, absolute rip off, this is why I had a custom made rear section made, the whole thing only cost me £500 fitted, and it sounds a whole lot better than standard.

    I am with you on the sound thing but what you are talking about sounds very very expensive to me, I had the rear section removed and custom replacement made, sounds great, all in stainless for £500.

    Yeah yeah yeah, silver ones are best, fastest, most reliable, driven by driving Gods and generally nice people, the blue ones on the other hand..............to be discussed in Wales....

    Yes , I have had this on a number of occasions although only once where the seat belt tensioners kicked in.

    I think you have hit the nail on the head there, since I have had the new exhaust fitted I can quite happily burble about and just listen to the soundtrack, at 2.5--3 thousand rpm it sounds absolutely incredible if you can get it between a row of buildings, it is not how loud it is it is the sound it makes, and then obviously where conditions allow....................well you know. So I guess the answer is yes, I can enjoy it without going above the speed limit.
