  1. No @Rusty Crobar I did not see a Veloster, ot whatever they are called but myself and Derek were stalked by a lovely E60 BMW, not an M5 but possibly a 535d or 535petrol, I don't know , it had no badges, however we had entertainment for miles, top guys, good driving, left us at M32 Bristol. Hope you all got home safe.
  2. Absolutely top weekend lads, good fast pace where possible, all safe and sound at the end of the day, great company at the hotel, roll on the next one!!!
  3. After our first "fast road" we all stop rather dazed and try and work out how we are going to keep up with @Flytvr over the weekend!!
  4. Great first day, some epic roads and a great laugh with some top guys. That Audi went rather well!!
  5. I would be very surprised if Lexus had already decided the lifespan of the LC range.
  6. Very interesting topic this, I have absolute faith in Lexus vehicles, I am on my fourth and none have cost me a single penny aside from servicing and consumables although I must say when I travel abroad if the car is out of warranty and therefore has no breakdown cover I do take cover out with a third party provider, as some of you have stated it is a peace of mind thing. It is great to see people taking their cars on long distance trips when they are 15-20 years old or more in some cases, for me as far as reliability is concerned, nothing comes close.
  7. Looks good, some of these detailers do a fantastic job, never tried them myself but I have seen the results of others that have had work done. Gotta love a shiny car!!!
  8. I have been outed Stuart, electricity is the fuel of the future for me now................................................. @Flytvr and @Big Rat have finished me.................and they hog all the bloody cake
  9. Well that made me proper laugh. I know I know, I am hopeless, and you had @Big Rat in the car with you as well, to back up this pitiful display of driving by me, I sometimes wonder why I have the bloody thing...................
  10. Make sure you have it ready for Saturday @Rusty Crobar otherwise we will al be meeting at your house and bringing our spanners............................or maybe just watching you while we eat cake
  11. I think as long as there is proof the car has been looked after then they are pretty bullet proof, if you buy from Lexus then it will come with 12 months warranty, I would try and negotiate for another year at least, as for the LSD it really is a track thing, I have driven with and without on the road and found no difference driving sensibly. Good luck and let us know what you decide on.
  12. Definitely on my radar for the future.
  13. Very interesting watching the process, however how to ruin a car in one, fairly easy and I would imagine expensive lesson, not for me, no thanks..........
  14. Blue.................................adds loads of value...................
  15. I do believe there are 2 on Autotrader for £15k
  16. Agree with @Stuno1 on this, I replaced mine because I don't like the "fake" tips and the fact that when one falls off, and they do, you will have a heart attack when you see how much Lexus will charge you for new ones. Custom built rear section, sounds great.
  17. I was looking to replace my wifes car, I looked at Range Rovers but reliability issues put me off, VW Touareg, hopeless dealership, Volvo XC90, which she didn't like and finally looked at Lexus, took an RX out for test drive and that was it I bought the RX and bought a 250F Sport for myself a year later however after a few months I needed more power and started the search for something else, I checked out all the usual cars, RS4 / RS6, M3/ M5 but as others have already stated they can have an image problem so it was between a Monaro VXR and the IS-F, as soon as I drove the Lexus that was it for me, I have had the car 15 months and it still puts a smile on my face.
  18. The reliability of these cars in my experience is amazing, this my fourth and none of them have cost me a penny in repairs.
  19. @Flytvr and @Big Rat you 2 had better save me some of that cake otherwise Clarkson like modifications will made to your cars at the overnight stop in Wales................ I mean you just don't do that, posting pictures of cake pfffft
  20. This has been mentioned in the past as well as Jose Mourinho.............
  21. LFA sounds great, sadly I will never own one.
  22. Ha ha, you certainly put some thought into that!!
  23. I am glad you can joke about this, I am not sure how I would react, well I suppose I do, I just don't want to admit it!!!
  24. A hell of a car for the money, I know they are around or already in to 100k mile territory but get a Lexus warranty and enjoy it. I see there is only 2 of the ultra rare, high performance, much sought after blue ones for sale, they wont be around for long........... @Big Rat @Flytvr @emjay82 @Rusty Crobar
