  1. Oh, is that all you took...………... Bloody awesome Dav, best blat so far...…….roll on Andorra!!
  2. Most of you know where I have been, Wales, Isle of Man and Europe Oh, and I went to Wigan once
  3. Just spent a few days on the IOM with 3 other members from on here, its a first for me, I cant believe I have never been, its so close, incredible scenery, epic roads and of course, in places NO SPEED LIMITS...……………………..I know, mile after mile without fear of a speed camera, some of the locals are extremely quick, in fact one member that will remain nameless, struggled to pass a mail van....allegedlySouth side of the island, The Sound cafeOn the TT mountain section, parked up at The Bungalow.
  4. I love Goodwood however I am having a blast around the Isle of Man along with a few other members over the weekend.
  5. I have bought from 4 different Lexus dealers and never had a problem, however I walked in and knew exactly what I wanted and knew they had the car there, they do seem to operate differently from other dealers, they seem to stand back, not push too hard or in some cases at all, and let the cars and reputation for reliability and customer service bring you into the dealership instead of ringing round "potential" customers. As for discounts, they seem confident in "the price is the price" and if you don't like it or cant afford it then buy something else which in a way sort of works for me, I see a car I like the price so I get it, although I understand that mentality doesn't work for everyone. Lexus remind me of Scania trucks back in the days I was in transport, that's the truck and that is the price, if you don't like it go and buy a Volvo/Daf/Renault etc They are very very confident in their product, i think Lexus are the same.
  6. Sounds like it was generally a success, which is great. On the subject of radios, I think they are a must for everyone, they are cheap and allow the group to stay together, make safe overtakes , warn each other of hazards etc, The runs I have taken part in or organised with other members on here have always used radios and proved invaluable, we have also found once you get more than 6-7 cars it becomes harder to control, keep people together, find suitable parking and the group starts to fragment with people splitting into smaller groups and the agenda goes out the window, anyway happy planning for the next one.
  7. Ok so its not an RCF Carbon , but it comes with carbon boot spoiler and front splitter, so I will just park it here to keep yours company for now...………………..
  8. If this scenario actually happened, which I don't believe for one minute, what state is the rest of the car in after plunging into a 2 feet deep ditch, it must have wiped out the suspension on that side of the car, not to mention bodywork damage...……………………...come on, what really happened????????
  9. I know its in disguise but it doesn't do anything for me, and in a way its half a BMW...………. Maybe it will look better when it is unveiled properly.
  10. No, It will be an LC500 for me, just need to work out how I am going to afford one!!
  11. You must have shares in these Lexus dealerships Paul Nice car, although maybe a bit too in your face for me.
  12. Looked at the Cheltenham car yesterday, looks better than it does in the photos but it doesn't work for me, interior colour isn't great and the paint job on the wheels looks cheap, It looks as though they couldn't really be bothered to put any effort into the car.
  13. True, resonator delete on mine, cost me around £100 doesn't make the car much louder, sounds a lot better though.
  14. All the F lot must be asleep, maybe I should have started a thread about painting my grill matt black...………………...
  15. Surely someone with your ability in a near 500bhp car could keep up with a van?????
  16. Ok, just for fun, you are at the "Ring" in your Isf--Rcf--Gsf and you follow this van onto the track, now I know what would be going through my mind but how long do you think you could hang onto the van, or do you think you could pass it...…………...hypothetical, I know...………..
  17. I think in this context a Hublot is LVMH...…...
  18. Very easy to clean as Colin has said, 3 dimensional.
  19. OK, what I am saying is this, there are 10 of these cars, forget how the "normal" cars depreciate, if you have a lot of spare income then it could be a car to buy and store, it makes no difference how good it is or how the others depreciate, it is rare, there are 10, its like any other rare item, people buy them because they are rare not because of how good they are, look at how certain things, be it cars, watches or whatever, if it is rare then it has the potential to be an investment, in my opinion the colour, interior and how the others models depreciate will have no bearing on this model...………….All In my opinion of course.
  20. Max(Sales Executive) at Cheltenham rang me yesterday about the car, with the numbers being so low on these I think they will be snapped up pretty quickly.
  21. Some crap mods there, the vented bonnets don't look good to me, OTT.
  22. Looks great...……….
  23. Don't worry, I will have a universal towing attachment which fits all German models...…………………...
  24. Yes, the crossing continents is a big concern, I did it with my Isf and will be doing it in a few months in the Gsf with complete confidence.
  25. Interesting, I know someone that has 2 and he reports they are far more reliable than people think, although I would accept they wont be as reliable as a Lexus, but what is? The gearbox on the MC/ Stradale is the one to avoid apparently, otherwise they are fine, again this is the opinion of a Maserati enthusiast, anyway the decision can wait for a while yet, no complaints with the Gsf.
