  1. its only the crank bolt that can caused a bit of trouble,,,I recon if you can undo one bolt, you can undo lots and I got an asin kit flying towards me from the US....I think it looks more daunting than it is. I have done one before it was a while ago 🙂
  2. hi.... theres always the diy route with an asin kit going for 200
  3. ... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/228230739968417?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A0abe381f-2586-4109-bd79-d0bf3487cfa7 no mention about the colour of the wheels though
  4. Oh its both sides at the rear so over slow bumpy/ rough roads.
  5. It has been a long road and still is I would hazard guess. Both Exhaust shields have been removed, and the exhaust has been checked exhaustively. All the control arms have been checked or changed on principle, all 4 shocks were replaced, all drop link arms, anti roll bar bushes. The boot has been emptied, linings taken off, back seats removed, all boxes disk drive, fuse box in the boot etc were cabled tied down (not that they were loose in the first place) then taken for a drive, much to my utter horror nothing had changed.
  6. thank you all very much.... im replacing them to try and get rid of a low speed rattle/ knocking... its the last thing to replace. I read somewhere on an american site that the bushes in them go sometimes, just firing the parts cannon at the old girl. Somewhere in the region of 4 mechanics have heard the rattle(which means I am not going mad) but have been unable to work out what it is. Also its gone through 3 Mots with nothing showing up even though i said hey man theres this rattle!
  7. Thanks Malc I use rock auto but they dont stock the rear uppers. I will try Amayama. Oooihhhhh they run a little high
  8. Thanks Malc I use rock auto but they dont stock the rear uppers. I will try Amayama.
  9. Hi guys Has anyone ever changed the rear wishbones in their car and if you did where did you get the parts from?
  10. evening guys,,,, was anyone driving a modded ls400 today up the glorious m6 today?
  11. Hi guys I saw this and as i was scrabbling around trying to find a way to do this about a year ago with no luck I thought I would put it in here for anyone who might want to try it out. (i found my keys)
  12. Thanks Herbs and Mark. That installation is very informative it's a shame the photos seem to be expired. I was torn between having it done and fitting it myself I got the time at the moment to do so,
  13. Hi Steve... I did not know that... it is 72p where I am, but then petrol heading to £2 per litre it still sounds like a good deal as I have spent over £400 in the last 3 weeks on crappy e10 fuel. Even at half the price of lpg its got to be worth it. Do you use it Steve?
  14. Good evening chaps or you know how anyone wants to addressed these days 😋. Does anyone have any experience fitting or having fitted an lpg kit to one of our landships that they wouldn't mind imparting up me :). I have a celsior... i dont think its any different well except for a few parks and talking to me in Japanese... still dont know what shes saying.
