Im wondering if the Lexus handbook, Is like the Toyota Handbooks,Being for the European market,Some applies to some Countries not others, Would be a good thread for everyone to point out whats on our English Spec or what's not, I see on hear for example there's a heated Steering Wheel, Would Peeps like to add what else would they like to see added on our English Spec? Hi Steve I just don't get the manufacturers reasoning on the gunk issue, All i can really think is that its cost, but then, ive had the opinion that accountants build cars now, Sadly.

Thanks guys, really helpful answers there. I currently have a Toyota Auris Excel hybrid with a spacesaver. From what I can see the stud pattern is the same for the Lexus CT200h premier that I am hoping to change to. It seems from your comments that it will be the same problem I had with the Auris that it does not go flat with the boot floor. I have heard many stories about the gunk that it is in most cases useless and tyre dealers are loath to replace the tyre because of the mess. It looks like it will be calling out the third emergency service if I am unfortunate enough to have a flat. But thanks for all your replies, it is much appreciated. Hopefully if the Ct measures up I can contribute to this site for other people. Stompe

Hiya, Im not familiar with the Lexus Nav, But if its DBD based it cost me £180 for the update discs for my second generation Prius, They were the latest discs........ But on investigation, they were at least 2years out of date, Big issue over on the Prius owners site, I now have an Auris Excel Hybrid, which i have free 3 year upgrades. Much improved now.

Thank you PaulWhitt20 and Richard2508 for your comments. Richard2508 the Auris Hyrbrid does not have ducts under the front seats and yet they do in Spain, Portugal evidentially. It is good to hear there has been no problems with heating in the back of the CT 200. I hear the Mark Levinson system is very good, is that an extra or is that on a certain model? Hi guys, please can you answer a few questions for me regarding the Lexus CT 200. I currently own a Toyota Auris Hybrid Exel, generally I am quite happy with it but the thing that really lets it down is the heater. It has climate control but there is no vents into the back seats and consequently it is cold in the back. Does the CT 200 have vents into the back area or can someone verify there is no problem with that? Is there a five year warranty with the Lexus? Any other tips on buying or recommended dealers would be grateful. Stompe
