  1. Was good to meet u Dave, 670mile round trip for me in the end, but enjoyed every one of them 👍
  2. There is no doubt "red" is the fastest, it's so fast in fact it's un photographable 😂🤣
  3. Hopefully some good photos to come as one the F's mates is coming and he's a professional photographer, time will tell, line up looks like 3-4 ISF, 1 GSF, 2 RCF, 2 RC's and a 430 SC. hopefully a double figure show with a couple of F's with steering wheels on the wrong side 😂
  4. Definitely this Saturday, definitely meeting at cutthroat car park at 1pm, postcode for this are is S33 0......I'll be leaving at about 7/7:30 ish as it's 3-1/2 hrs and 200 miles for me, Ryo has his friend coming who is a professional photographer, so hopefully some good photos to be had, as for what's planned??.....I have no clue, I'll be continuing up to Carlisle to visit family after, don't know a time duration, if this goes well then I think Ryo, myself and Karl will be looking to pop to see Ze Germans on their territory, obviously this would be a weekend away jaunt. hopefully see u Saturday @1 Paul
  5. Update, German ISF. German RCF. British RCF, ISF pos x2 or maybe British GSF....one of the ISF owners can't make it due to late info n work commitments, Roman is trying to arrange a German meet not to far in but in "autobahn" territory if anyone's interested??
  6. Cutthroat bridge car park @ 1pm, think the postcode is S33 0, still trying to find out how many are coming.
  7. This Saturday, didn't find out until this morning, meeting at S33 0 postcode, carpark in the Peak District at 1pm, not sure how many are coming over either, will update as soon as I know more
  8. You must have extremely "good taste" too 😉
  9. Good job I don't drink coffee, will save me a fortune......🤣.......I'm in Essex, going to the Peak District Saturday to meet with some of Ze Germans with a couple of other fellow F driver friends of mine, they will probably be up for the next "blat"......although one has an ISF and a GSF......which will he have to come in?? Lol.....lucky git
  10. I'm in.....lol.....🍻🍻🍻
  11. How much was the weekend??....halfway through an extension BUT I'd love to try n get to the next one...invite required 😳....looks like u had a great time 👍👍
  12. As far as I'm away F and F Sport
  13. Thinks it's going to be THIS Saturday (29)......and looking like the S33 0 postcode area which is the peak district (I think)......as far as I know it's for F and F Sport drivers, a friend I know is looking at being there in his GSF which is black n orange.
  14. I've just heard that the German F enthusiasts are coming next Saturday, think it'll be Wales area, not had a location or time as yet, but will keep anyone posted that's interested
  15. Red was and is my favourite colour in these, been looking at the RR sport TDV8. I'd be gutted to tamp silly miles up and also the chance of deteriorating the wheels etc.....think it would destroy me, parking at work isn't an issue due to having a private car park, just the every day use I'd feel it deserves a better home, I can't get the kids n dog in the back, don't particularly want the dog in it full stop. A RR would fit our requirements better BUT that's not a definite either, when it sits there it's a waste, when I use it I love it, head says one thing, heart n life is saying something else 😔
  16. Mine started back in 2002 with the IS200 sport, about a week after purchasing I saw an IS300, two years later had an IS300 aero, my mum bought an IS250 SE-L as I'd never purchased the same Marc twice, she passed away after 5 yrs of ownership, the car came to me and I enjoyed it for 5yrs too though driving with gritted teeth that someone would hit me, after consulting my sister n wife I opted for the F......I love the car BUT with kids, dog, caravan (V70 for towing) a bike, mk1 mr2 and the wife's car my road fund costs (although my F is only £235) and insurance premiums are getting beyond a joke, it may have to go along with the V70 to make May for an all rounder to try and reduce my driving costs, still trying to justify keeping the car but loath to use daily for work, but hay ho time will tell......think it's something I'd massively regret if I went that way though 😳
  17. Not the same, but maybe of similar on cars, I was offered "GAP" on my new bike, was led to believe it's up to 3yrs old, will cover a shortfall on insurance and replacement if the bikes written off, stolen or I crash it 😳.......I was offered a similar think from Lexus when I bought mine, not sure if it's to entice you back to a dealership, I declined as cost was not cheap, if memory serves me it was just under £1000 mark, don't think it particularly matters who your cars with as bottom line is they will offer the least amount possible......hence why most drivers hate insurance companies.
  18. I still love the first model, really miss my IS300 aero, my brother in laws brother in law has one, from new to, have put my name forward for first option IF he ever sells.
  19. Have been following this thread, think the whole insurance system is a con, we all pay a premium to protect our possessions and expect a fair/replacement value in return, one thing I do know is the ombudsman fee is paid for by the insurance company, something they don't want to pay, my car is a 58 plate with 53k, sunroof model and non mainland tax liable, so even harder to replace, I wouldn't contemplate anything under 20k for mine n fight all the way, these are not your normal run of the mill M3-C63 type cars, surely a rarity MUST come into the financial factor of replacing.......I thought insurance companies where now obliged to replace not compensate so to reduce fraudulent claims??......good luck with your battle
  20. That years come round fast, not had mine through yet BUT I insure two cars on same date get a discount for each as I insure two, I'm confused as u are reading this, but last year was £268 with 10-12k on F and £198 for D5 V70 with same 10-12k......£466 for both.....post must be due to land soon 🙄
  21. Yes but depends on location for me, coming from Essex area and obviously dates too, if I can I will, have a friend in the Birmingham area with an F, not on Forum but is interested too, will try and keep an eye on thread for date 👍
  22. Try "Westfield Motors" in Rawreth near Rayleigh Essex, they are Lexus/Toyota specialist, they are excellent and 100% trustworthy and knowledgeable, they look after 3 ISF to my knowledge, good luck
  23. Sorry for your loss, I'd be telling them to replace the car, don't want the money if they can buy a good like for like example for £14k I'd happily accept it, obviously not possible, as for jag XKR, my sister has a 53 plate 4.2 supercharged from new, 50k ish millage and starting to suffer with various issues, been advised to cut her losses as this is the norm for these, my uncle has an early 03 with 16k, loves it and no issues, his is the 4.0ltr one, don't know much about them, both are lovely looking cars tho......good luck with your hunting......id still be asking insurance company to replace the car.
  24. Been looking at the venues, Donnington Park is a couple of hours for me, something I'd be up for if I'm about that day, will keep checking as I missed the Blue Water meet 👍
