I’m looking for help/guidance what tyres? Been to my local tyre place (two brothers from school) quoted me £65 each for two fronts (tracking) now question is they say Nexen are a branded tyre as are khumo, nexen have a budget brand that uses their older style tread pattern......speed rating is 180mph now they are saying khumo £120. Bridgestone £180 but are telling me they’re equally as good as the others......speed rating, bs kite marks etc etc as I’m considering selling on do what tyres do I buy? the old faithful V70 has only ever had budgets, never had an issue with them, always viewed as having bs kite marks etc etc Cheers gents

My insurance was renewed on 5/10/17, price had increased to £306 and pennies, mine is 9/10k a year and an accumulated excess of £350, my insurance is with esure, although I only do about 3500 a year but not worth changing mileage figures as it has sod all difference when u want to reduce it, so just left it as it’s always been, renwal search was £500+ so stayed where I’ve been for the last 10yrs

My sister had the evoque......she hated it 🙄......brother in law had the sport, the evoque is definitely a "marmite" car......u need a very good test drive in one. Preferably a weekend with it......but your right, not up here for performance or reliability BUT definitely a nice place to be

There's two I wish I still had, first at 17 in 1989 was my uncles MK 1 1300E, purple with a black vynil roof, was my Great Aunts prior to him, back seat had never been sat on, grey velour seats had always had covers on from new, at 17 and knowing nothing it failed the MOT and mot'er said it was to expensive to repair (both cills) he bought it off me for £200.......second was my TR4a.......old boy I knew had it from new, bought it off him when kids were young and with young kids the money goes faster than u can earn it, still have the 1969 mini that I swapped it for and the £2000 is long gone, in 16 years the mini has done about 30 miles 😂......only has 43k from new 😳 Still have an urge for a P5 3500 coupe and a series 1 turbo......but the house is more important (so says the wife) 😢

Iam gutted, spoke to a mate on Friday who tells me he's just got a TT-s......he HAD a lovely A4 cab in blk with blk leather etc on a 54 plate n Audi gave him a grand for....😢....gutted as I'd have had it for my commute car 😢

Wish I could keep it, but the wife has 2 neck disc displacements and finds it to harder ride, she's only driven it twice and it frightened her so now won't entertain driving it, BUT if the money's not right I'll keep n get an IQ or smart car for my daily commute to London as I'm always worried some moron will hit it, hence why I drive a V70.....which also doesn't like.......I'd change her if it wasn't so damn expensive 😉

What did you get??.....mine just sits on the drive n the wife wants me to get "an all rounder" so she can drive it to, I'm struggling to see anything I like as much though

What about "bolts"??....if u have to extract the stud would it be easier to buy bolts at the stud length plus what extra u desire??....I'm about as good as u......I hear u say 😳

😳.....I got offered 17k for mine n turned it down. They are a fantastic car and providing garage is reputable it wouldn't put me off 👍
