    My son at 19 has a type R, he’s “always” wanted the EP3, he found a 2005 cosmos grey one with 2 owners n full history, i at 45 had th joy of driving it home from the 100+ trip, he was in his Civic sport that he had at 17 which was cheaper to insure than a fiesta 1.25 🤔.........he has zero intentions of ever selling it, I have full use of it, fun it is, onlookers must just laugh at some “old boy” in a kids car 😳......🤣😂🤣

    Same as u @Jgtcracer.......my biggest concern is the regret, don’t know what to consider as a replacement, was thinking outside the box for something that suits my family needs 🤔.....RR sport supercharger, or something similar, love the Lexus brand (4th in a row) but the RX doesn’t do anything for me 😔......a massive head scratcher moment 🙄

    @Big Rat.......think the “mecarno” styling started with the RS Focus, personally don’t understand why ANY manufacturers thought that taking their styling from a toy was a winner 🤔.........🤪🤪🤪🤪must have been party time in the drawing office🤪🤪🤪🤪

    @mike m.......I like u we’re thinking of a change, had mine capped by a dealer and was pleasantly surprised, I did enquire on a PX somewhere else and the price was £3k less.......like u I was AND am confused, but using daily has made me think twice AGAIN......I’ve had mine 3years now and like yourself was looking at the 4x4 Route,.......but I’m still not ready.....I don’t think 😬😬

    Yes, Lexus secret society European and Japan, was a Facebook group set up by Ryo, I also put it on the Deutschland Lexus F forum as Roman comes over to the uk yearly and the Polish F club site. Think from Ryo site there is about 7 coming and possibly more, Paul

    At the last count there’s five coming on the Sunday that are not on the forum, the longest journey is from Scotland, he’s caved due to peer pressure from the other four, not sure of arrival time but I’d imagine it’ll be around midday-ish due to distance, I’m aiming for 10am but will meet the others at Richs house 👍👍

    I’ve a mate that works in the industry, glasses guide and similar are not what the traders use, they use a program called “cap” something unavailable to the public, he’s capped mine a few months ago at £16495 to £18995.....recent cap values were £18100 to £19900.....possible that the values are on the increase, obviously mileage and conditions are a major factor Paul

    Shame that stuno’s car has ended up this way, was a lovely car under his ownership, also a shame that some don’t respect their cars in the correct manor, can only assume it’s had an extremely hard life of late

    Looking good for Sunday for me along with Karl grey (ISF), Rich sliver (ISF) and both days and Ryo white (ISF) or his black (GSF)....both Karl and Ryo are not on the site and don’t think Rich gets on here much.

    @wantaisf...Jim, don’t dismiss dealers, I got mine from Lexus main dealer, I started off at £5k below the asking price, ended up settling at £3.5k off, years warranty BUT took the car “as is”.....no pre service only pre sale inspection, I did go into the showroom, drove it, slept on it after £5k drop dismissed, sealed the deal on the phone a few days later, what with the new reg coming out there’s a lot of reasons to have a dabble as car sales are VERY LOW at the mo, Paul

    Need to confirm I’m not on holiday, looks like Sunday for me, I’m in Essex n going to Rich’s house who lives near Cheltenham, meeting up with Karl there n our 3 F’s will be going in convoy......Rich is going both days but it’s to far for me and I’m hedging my bets on Sunday being easier to travel 🤔

    Any descent tyre centre will check the geometry of your wheel alignment free of charge, I’d get them done now to maximise the life of your tyres BUT keep an eye on the inside tread, every time suspension is raised and lowered it can affect alinement, false economy is to replace tyres that don’t need it........don’t go to any national tyre centre, use a small one that rely on repeat business Paul

    Ooh, I think I’m around, just need to check with the “insignificant other” and check dates, but I’m 80/85% I’ll be there, sure the holidays the following weekend, it’s 3hrs for me, can’t do both but think Sunday would probably suit more, will get a new bottle of waterless wax and park round the corner first......in a que behind the black F’s 🤪🤪🤪

    Five years is still not very good...imo...think I’d ask for a list and make a few inquiries tbh,......you will need to go over it with a fine tooth comb if you proceed, take other eyes too.

    Five years is an insult!.....there are insurance approved repairs that give a lifetime warranty, my is250 which was my late mums was repaired by “Lexus” or “lexus approved” repairer, the work was absolutely diabolical, she had terminal cancer and after 3 attempts to rectify she gave up, I’d never use a Lexus repairer after being party to this, your insurance company will offer a better repair with a longer warranty and they have to use genuine parts.     Try having a look at “PartSoqu”.....think that’s the name, they’re in United Emirates area, need a few bits for my Subaru, they were more than half the price of Main dealers here, all genuine parts, maybe worth a gander

    Sorry to see that, insurance claim “garage will double any repair cost”........find a decent repair shop (not Lexus) possibly someone you trust, there are lots of “guarantee lifetime repairs” out there, years ago the wife ran into someone at a roundabout, no damage to them and repair cost of over £1000......xs of £175 at the time, repaired at a cost of £220 and that included a full mop......insurance company actually thanked me....this obviously wasn’t the F.....just a personal example and something to consider, hope it goes well, Paul

    Hi, my car “was” a jersey car, registered October 2008 and mainland 2012, only downside I’ve come across is mine has to tax at pre 2001 rates (£245 a year), has all the service history with the car, is basically a UK car but will possibly state “alternative mainland registered”.......makes absolutely no difference on anything, insurance, parts, servicing. Mines states “registered 2012”.......but that was the import date, build date is 2008, mine came from Lexus Coventry so there really is nothing hidden, hope this helps, Paul
