  1. I’ve had mine for the last 20yrs, it’s always been “incorrectly spaced” although it has always had legal text, I’ve never been pulled by the police even with having them behind me, post and pre Reg cars differ in there “spacing” appearance, doubt I’d win any argument but as far as I’m concerned if the ANPR works then I can’t see it being an issue, although there’s always the jobs worth out there, thankfully in 20yrs I’ve not come across him 🤞🏻
  2. This was something that was potentially on my radar to do BUT there doesn’t seam to be any consistency with results, I’m not bothered about the speed aspect as what it is it undrivable in real daily terms, the exhaust has done yesterday and the wife has already said “u sound like one of those boy racers” lol, so not sure I need to make it loader.......like she said “your 46 NOT 21” 😂🤣😂
  3. But I’m still interested......hope the interest is here too 👍🏻👍🏻
  4. Morning, personally id be interested in the front lip/skirt/diffuser,......there is a genuine Wald rear diffuser on E-bay for £1100 or offers, did consider it BUT I’m not convinced it’ll look right on red.......think I’d prefer something a little less conspicuous on my colour car.....I know Roman Schapp is the official link to genuine Toms and Lems part in Europe, Ryo will be coming to the Peak meet on the Saturday and he’s in it with Roman although his part is that of a silent one....although being genuine they will probably be of a more expensive nature 🙄
  5. I’m a Senior Technician on London Underground, we’re a NON profit organisation, we as a company have to deal with an infrastructure that was NEVER designed to carry the amount of people this country houses, the roads were never built to take the volumes of traffic either, the icing on the cake are people like the London mayor, a man that is a complete moron, fare freeze until 2020 🤔....budgets cut across the board, H&S comprised to MAINLY the work force,......then there’s the public, they expect a train every couple of minutes, there isn’t the funding or the capability to improve something so complex within such small peramiters, no mater how good public transport would or could be people will always moan, I think you’ll find there isn’t any public transport system worldwide that works to perfection.......personally I think anyone that is Office based should use public transport, leave the roads for those that need them, trades, maintenance and delivery. The roads moved better before flexi time for office workers.
  6. One thing that amazes me is the UK has 6% of its land mass occupied/developed, air quality is measured in this 6% of habitation, there will always be mass pollution in such a small developed area, IF and only IF phev and equivalent vehicles are to be the future the lost revenue will be recouped via kWh prices being increased across the board, industry is the main pollutant and cars are a fraction of it, its more environmentally damaging to produce and dispose of any electric cell/battery etc than it is in any combustible engine vehicle BUT the government and car industry feels it must show to be cleaning up its act on a daily discharge basis and NOT on the lifetime of the car itself, it’s nothing more than a marketing ploy to get people to think they’re doing their bit which infact they are doing more irreversible damage to the world as a whole. Daresay elect vehicles will be the future albeit a short one once the factual truth is available......pass this onto the kids as well be wormbate or dust by the time it’s common knowledge 🙄
  7. There’s more than one petrol station on the A127 with no slip road.....most will adapt their driving to expect someone to have to pull out, and in heavy traffic on the A127 you could probably walk out of the slip road. Lol.......the roads a joke in rush hour
  8. Think the only bones I didn’t break was my back n neck. Lol.......definitely put an end to playing football, although I did try the vets and lasted about half a season a few years ago 😂......but like they say there’s always someone worse off 😉
  9. Yep, only had it 5 weeks, one owner from new that was garaged every night, the condition of the car was what saved my life according to the police reports, 2-1/2 weeks on life support in a comma. Nearly 6 months in hospital and a year off work. Over 23yrs ago now. Plenty of reminders ever morning and particularly cold damp days. Thought it a good point where B roads are concerned. You never know whos coming round the corner and what injuries that innocent person will suffer, if they survive.
  10. Nice little “B” road accident for you!.....my car and it wasn’t me in the wrong!.....was me that came off worst though......I can assure u the effects last a lifetime
  11. Intelligence VS common sense 🤔.......it’s amazing what intelligent people believe, unlike those with common sense 😂🤣😂......
  12. For me personally, I’m after a car that feels well built is powerful for overthinking manoeuvres and has reliability with it, motorways are irrelevant, B roads are an importance BUT no matter how fast or quick the pick up is there’s always the car coming from the other direction to consider, many times I’ve been passed on B roads by a much faster car than my daily BUT a lot of the time there’s been no consideration to on coming traffic coming round that bend ahead.....think a lot of people fail to realise that when buying a performance car, something age brings to the table, for me personally it’s build quality, reliability and performance when I need it......not the risk factor of ......“my car can do this that n the other”......I wouldn’t say I know my cars limitations but I do know mine and they fall short of the cars potential, I can live with that 👍🏻
  13. The same here on the one or two, probably my MKI escort 1300E, purple with black vinyl roof, my uncles before me and his aunt/my great aunt prior to him, 73k with seat covers on (from new)........17 and no idea, mot failed and exploited by the mot station 🙄.......”if only” 🙁
  14. Eternally grateful for a carbon fibre front splitter 👍........anything to avoid import tax and VAT. Got caught out on that one before 🙄
  15. I personally think they will ALL go up in value, none have sold in masses, some early toyotas are becoming quite expensive these days, the F brand broke the mold of a very well put together reliable “family” option, M and AMG performance with far superior quality and reliability.......personally I think it will gain more in the future than any M or AMG car of equivalent era
  16. 29th September at Lexus Derby and overnight at Buxton premier inn.....some over nighters and some Saturday lads
  17. @Mark G.....I’ve been in Ryo GSF a couple of times and it’s a VERY nice place to be, I’m amazed at the low number of sales and the ending of it too, think the GSF will increase too, ISF as first BUT GSF as such low numbers and the huge step up between the two. 👍🏻....will u be joining the group on the 29th?.....looking to be a good turnout 👍🏻
  18. Cheers @Mark G.......how getting on with the GSF?......miss the old girl?........thanks for the post too 👍🏻
  19. Me and u both 😂🤣.....‘‘tis one of my concerns 🤔
  20. I have tried to find it but to no avail 🙄
  21. @FTBBCVoodoo sorry scrub that last comment, I blew the pictures up 👍🏻
  22. @FTBBCVoodoo thank you, I see you’ve removed the underside of the original exhaust exit, one of my concerns was heat off the tips....and if any disformation would take place. Any particular reason for removing? cheers
  23. About 5’ 9 and a half, always remember the half 😂🤣
  24. To one n all that have had an after market exhaust, would you be so kind to post photos of them, I like the rear tips but tip loss is a concern and I’m not sure if I like circular tips, only images I’ve found are at exhaust height view so unable to see them from a normal angle.....standing, trying to gauge what looks best (for me) don’t want to upset anyone. Trying to get my own personal view. cheers gents 👍🏻
  25. @Big Rat......to late now Paul, I’ve ordered and paid a deposit for mine on the strength of your last post. 😳.......fitting takes place on 5-6/9/18.......I’ve read a lot about the air intake and all seam to point in the “makes no difference” direction, can’t seam to find any confirmation of any difference tbh....as for numbers 🤔......did u ever get to colour count??
