Some Feedback for Lexus Derby
Womble72 replied to NothernDan's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Alex was excellent, very helpful and it shows with his enthusiasm with the brand, sausages were excellent to, was wondering if he hires his services out for BBQs? nothing but praise from me 👍🏻👍🏻 -

UK mades ISF headers, who's interested?
Womble72 replied to Twellsie's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
I maybe wrong, but isn’t the GSF manifold the same?......also led to believe that they improved the quality on the GSF so this didn’t happen......I’m not convinced mine doesn’t have a blow in the manifold, millage is 60k 😳 -
BMW 8 Series.

Looks like “one shape fits all” and size don’t matter......or so my insignificant other tells me! 😂🤣 -
Why f cars don’t sell well...
Womble72 replied to Stuno1's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Badge snobbery, that’s all, as a kid we mainly had Audi 80 sports, BMWs tenfold, these were the days when BMW Fairfield normally had about 8-10 used cars and a showroom of about 3 cars, they were exclusive BACK THEN but the snobbery aspect of this is very much still apparent. People don’t like change, BMW, Merc and Audi all reduced their build quality to be more affordable to the everyday person, Lexus came along to attempt to steel some of that market, Toyota knew that they couldn’t get in under the Toyota badge, people still don’t like change and continue to buy German “was” good vehicles. i like the rarity of the brand it reminds me of my childhood when the being “not the norm” felt special. Lol being on my 4th Lexus and knowing what little I know I wouldn’t buy anything BUT Japanese, we’ve 1 Lexus, 2 Toyota and the boy has a Civic type R. His second Honda......there is also the point that whilst we, America and other countries spent money on weaponry the two class leaders were also the ones that were banned from developing their arsenal. Hence their progress in the vehicle industry. -
Hi Dan, found the link, still no help to me, I’ve only an iPhone, don’t have a computer and images are not good when trying to blow them up, will try and look tomorrow when I’m in the office, although we’ve filters on the system and some things are bared from loading, will see what I can “see” lol......I mean find out.

Don’t shout I know it’s not an ‘F’ 😇
Womble72 replied to Big Rat's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Ive had 3 shoguns in the past, the best by far the 3.5v6, was better on fuel than the 3.0v6, quicker and a more refined drive, many a farmers field was crossed if an accident had occurred on my homeward journey, although back then (pre cameras) at 90ish the return was around 16mpg 😳 and the fuel gauge moved too 😂 -

Name that boot spoiler??
Womble72 replied to NothernDan's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Looks to be a replacement BUT I’m no expert, I know Wald, Toms and Lems are big names in aftermarket items, think Pete would be your best bet for mods on here -
@Managh I’m the other voice on your shoulder, my F has never been to Lexus for servicing as the cost exceeds the expectation 😂.....although mine did have full lex history prior to my ownership, the air bag recall was done by Lex and they did a “full health check”.....no issues whatsoever, my Indy always use genuine parts and are around half the price, it’s knowing and trusting that matters to me, they are great cars and getting “the feel” for being genuine goes a long way in your search if a private sale is in sight......mine has had no warranty on it for the last 3years and cost me nothing other than servicing costs. Always a good debate/banter amongst us here......for “me” a good Indy history is better than a Lex one.....good luck in your quest, as for issues I’ve had none with my 58 plate one.

Orange Rcf Carbon come on sale
Womble72 replied to Big Rat's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
I like the orange, I like the GSF in it too, I “personally” think that you can tone it down subtly with a slight carbon twist......BUT not over do it.....but that’s “my” views,.....I did consider a carbon rear diffuser for my ISF but feel the colour combo wouldn’t be right. -
Private number plate suggestions
Womble72 replied to Vlady's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
I’ve an app on my phone, “total car check”.....it’s a free app but you can check the mot history of the car or look to see if certain plates are asigned. -
Private number plate suggestions
Womble72 replied to Vlady's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
V1 ADY is already asigned to a Merc SL-350, best to look on DVLA cherish plates, you can input you requirements and they can show you what’s available in a similar form. -
Another anyone know this ISF, with a twist!
Womble72 replied to d3ron's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Try “fast keys” in Wickford, they can cut and program most cars, got on for the mother in laws Jazz and our old Subaru, from memory think it was about £120 and £150.
